If threads like this are continued to be put up on this site, I suggest that the HS suspend this website until the National League commences. Some lads have too much time on their hands and are dreaming up all kinds of threads.

Patrique, agreed on the lack of building on the all-ireland victory but to be fair to the County Board they have now addressed that problem and Wexford are now competitive at under age again - we won the U16 all Ireland this year which was a great boost in the arm for all concerned. We threw away a minor match against Galway as well but at least we are competitive again so we are going in the right direction - there is great work going on in all the clubs so it will bear fruit in a few years i believe. We had a few minors this year who will be donning the denior jersey in a few years.

Offalyfaithful, i would probably agree that the Offaly team were the finest hurling team of the 90's. Class from 1 to 15. To be fair to Wexford and Clare we also had very good teams and got the All-Irelands the team deserved.
