apparently claregalway are really getting there act together this year for junior A and with so much talent just breaking through from their excellent juvenile system surely they can't be overlooked

gaaok01 -> I'm not sure why Headford are being so hotly tipped to be honest. They will be much the same as last season. They are unlikely to have many extra players, though there will be a couple of lads who were minor last year and will be looking to make the team this year. These lads are decent players too to be fair. If they click they will be a match for any team.
Kerrils were the only team to beat them last year and they drew with Athenry in the first league game with a very weakened team. They just have to hope that they don't lose lads to emigration which is a very real possibility I reckon.
Ballinasloe will be very dangerous opponents for everyone this year. They were decent last year and will be better this year again.

Ya Headford won by 7 points in the league game I think. It was a tight game until just before half time though when Headford got 2 quick goals.B'sloe were always chasing it after that. The championship quarter final was a much closer game.Headford won by a single point. They deserved it that day too despite the close scoreline as they were 5 points up at one stage and created 2 or 3 goal chances that they didn't take.B'sloe piled on the pressure late on but couldn't get the equaliser.B'sloe were without Keith Kelly that day who was a big loss.Headford were missing their main midfielder and centre forward that day as well though. I would fancy B'sloe this year myself

nobody seems to rate kilconnell st gabs !
they will take a massive boost from their sister club cappy getting to the AI final in inter hurling and should raise confidence levels sky high in that area. behindtheditch thats "sham rhymeing slang" which you will have to get a native of the sloe to translate for you but from what i've heard from their players efforts by some greyheads to get rid of their manager fell flat after the players backed their manager fully.

Although now irrelevant i suppose, does anyone know what the league groups are in the north board?
With promotion know scrapped, how is relegation decided?

it will be annaghdown or ballinasloe that will go up.
headford are not dedicated enough from what im told. tuam stars and milltown could also push for promotion.
