It is very good to have competition for places on the minor panel,this has not happened in long time very on fair to single out a member of management for bring in players from their own clubs.The minor management team are doing a good job so yerman lay off or face them at training or at next match.

Seen the Moorefield/Maynooth game... Good game Maynooth did nothing but niggle and foul the whole game was a wonder how nobody was sent off...! Mad to see how soome of the moorefield players not on kildare panel. Tom McDermot and Pauric Murphy. Both never got a look in.

However I cannot see anybody beating the mighty Parish of Athy with young Tony Gibbons leading the charge...! Sure to score at least 5 or 6 points from wing back or centre back. Then backed up by other great players such as Liam McGoven, Darren Davis Trevor Farrell.

John Cummins Jr looks a great prospect too.

Yermon.. Cannot see how you could have K. Fitzpatrick near the first 24. Seen him play against Cavan and to be honest he left alot to be desired. There are many other players from around the county ahead of him, Kevin Feely from Athy, young Adam Tyrll from Moorefield and Joe Geary from Maynnoth And Des Holten. Plenty more ability in these boys.

IF you were at the game you would see that he limped off after 5 mins, and was very obviously injured. Is it cause he from a small club? stop talking rubbish, he wont let his county down, dont worry.

Dont think thats rubbish now, everybody is entitled to their opinions...Its got nothing to do with being from a smaller club, many of the best players on both the minor and senior come from smaller clubs and contribute greatly. Maybe its just because your from the same club as this young lad or related...?

You are entitled to your opinion.
If your gonna be honest.
The player got injured v Castledermot last Week and shouldnt have played v Cavan, as was injured.
When introduced v Wicklow did really well. is a valuable asset to Co. Minor Panel. will also play a vital part of his Clubs push for an Intermediate Championship.
Thats just my opinion for what its worth.
People see different things in diff players.

lost by 3 points...3.7 to 13 points. could of easily won if it werent for the soft goals. alot of changes throughout so it was a decent display even if some of the changes were puzzling

its a savage side very talented . best minor team we had since 99 when lost the final in a replay . the manager was over the under 21 last yr . i say if we can beat ye the double is truely on . minor hurlers are expected win leinster at least .

Wicklow didnt perform last round so a real test is exactly what Kildare need. Looking forward to this one. It should determine whether we're any good or not.

Same panel as last time except Eoin Doyle (Naas) is in for Kevin Fitzpatrick (Monasterevin).

Fitzpatrick is out due to injury, and wasnt deemed fit enough,as was stated previously.
Doyle only joined the panel 3 weeks ago, and I think will get the nod to start at the expense of Mark Brown @ wing back.
