blindassasin louth were 4pts up at half time in 2006.the half time score was louth 0-10 meath 0-06.louth as you stated did not score in the second half.the final score was meath 1-18 louth 0-10.funny enough 2 other counties that year failed to score in 1 half in the championship.tyrone failed to score in the 1st half against derry and limerick(who were beaten meath by 20pts at one stage) failed to score in the 2nd half against cork. Ollie what has Limerick beating Meath by 20 points at one stage this year got to do with Meath outscoring Louth by 1-12 to 0-0 in a 2nd half of football???? Meath were absolutely awful this year, was the worst Meath team I've ever seen take to the field, attitude was all wrong and it was clear the management had lost the dressing room. Meath have had so much success in the last 20 years whereas Louth have had very little. Naturally with close neighbours, jealousy sets in. kennys_rath (Meath) - Posts: 80 - 12/12/2008 19:13:59 163396 Link 0 |

I don't think it has soo much to do with football, we simply don't like meath people just one of them things, listening to two headers like Hector & Tiernan would be a good example. francie81 (Louth) - Posts: 228 - 15/12/2008 17:16:03 164585 Link 0 |
