Thats rubish True blues. most of those managers are totally wrong. Gerry mc Loughlin is not with Carrigallen, Matt Gaffey is with Mohill. Pat prior not with Aughavas, Pat mc Donald not with St Os,s. Where do you get this rubbish

Aughavas. Don't Know Aughnasheelin. Liam Higgins - Higgins will probably be back with Aughnasheelin next year although he will be sought after and should probably considering getting out of this club on a high! Relegation from Senior Championship is a real possibility while playing in Division 2 next year. Annaduff. John Russell - Russell will probably continue with Annaduff next year to progress them further. In fairness to him the had an OK season this year. Allen Gaels. Don't Know Aughawillan. Jerome Quinn - I assume that Jerome Quinn will remain in this post to try and return Aughawillan to the Senior Championship next year. Winning Division 2 league will secure his position. Bornacoola. Noel Crosson - Crosson is one of the best managers in Leitrim club football and with Bornacoola going so close again this year they will want him to stay. Would the St Marys post interest him though? Ballinamore. Garry Donohue - I think Donohue will definitely be at the helm in 2009 after a decent Senior Championship run and also promotion to Division 1. The future is bright for this former superpower of Leitrim football. Cloone. Don't Know Carrigallen. Don't Know - Will Gerry Mc Loughlin remain? He should as it is his fault that they will be playing Division 2 football next year. Carrick. Don't Know - The biggest job up for grabs this year. Drumreilly. Don't Know - Have the potential to be a very good team if they can get the services of a good manager. Drumkeerin. Don't Know - Going nowhere fast. Drumahaire. Don't Know - perhaps Katherine Lynch could get a full time job! Eslin. Don't Know - Joe Reynolds ? Glenfarne. Don't Know - Going nowhere fast. Gortletteragh. Seamus Quinn - I think Quinn has what it takes to revive this club. Don't expect much for next year though. Kiltubrid. Don't Know - Brilliant club who need a good manager to regain the Championship. Leitrim Village. Don't Know - Decent manager needed here to continue the progress this young club is making. Mohill. Matt Gaffey - Don't know for sure but looks fairly likely at this stage. Manor. Don't Know - Current management definitely stepping down. Big shoes to fill in this job. Kieran Fox? Melvin Gaels. Don't Know - If Gaels win the league Val Murray will remain - if not he hasn't achieved anything. St Ciallins. Don't Know - God help this person! St Osnaitts. Garath Foley - Word on the street is that this is definite.

1) You are right I don't know who any of the managers will be. Nobody does - not even the clubs themselves yet (Most AGMs will be around Christmas). I am merely speculating who might be in these jobs next year judging on previous years. Where I have absolutely no clue I have said that I don't know.
2) I know Gerry McLoughlin has not managed Carrigallen for the past two years but he was last manager to bring them any success. He wont be kept at Mohill anyway. Also as Gerry will have found out it is a massive step up to senior from intermediate. If Gerry McLoughlin had built a decent team they would still be in Division 1.
3) Seamus Quinn managed Gortletragh this year and I am thinking that he will stay put for 2009.
4) There is an awful lot of talk that Gaffey is taking over Mohill.

Re Leitrim Lad. I really dont think you should place any more items on this board. You have no idea about football management or managers. You are saying if a guy takes over a team and gets them promoted in that year. Then he moves to another club. The team stay in div 1 for next year and the following year they get relagated it is the fault of the man who trained them 3 years ago.you have no idea. Gerry mc loughlin done a good job with Carrigallen for the short time he was with them. Also he only took on Mohill for a year as they were struggling and they finished 3rd in league 1. Matt gaffey our old manager tells me Pat o toole is the new man in Mohill. So please spare us the bull. no one will take any heed of you from now on...

Ok - maybe I have been harsh on McLoughlin regarding Carrigallens complete failure since their flash in the pan season a few years back. However I still think he had a very poor season with Mohill. Don't forget that Mohill were most peoples favourites for the Championship & McLoughlin failed to get them out of the group stage, drawing with a mediocre Melvin Gaels and an Intermediate Sean O'Heslins. If he was any good he would have been kept for a second season! As I have already said I included Matt Gaffeys name because their was so much talk about it! It is only a suggestion!
