Don't worry Mid-Mon Man There's still Cavan men not fit to sleep thinking about Fergus hiding under the bed ... There's been some very good stories told about that Full-back line and the Caufileds.... The best one I heard about him was one McEniff told about the Donegal lad who came to Brian before the games started to ask not to be started in the corner saying that the Caufield guy was half crazy. Or the one about --- from --- lying down to get Caufiled sent off and then hopping up and jeering him as Caufiled was sent off, So Caufiled turned and went back on to the field to smack him and ----- ran for his life trying to get to the gate on the field ... Funniest story ... Rumour is ... the reason they put wire round the fence in Scotstown was that there was a traffic hazard ... and there were too many men running away from Caufiled and getting knocked down on the road by cars!!

Since when did knocking someone out make you hard? :/

Knocking someone out doesn't make you hard, it makes you dirty, but --- was also the dirtiest player you'd find when he wanted to be. Didn't need to be but he was. The type of player you'd hate at club level but be glad was on your side for the county.
