Are we talking about tough brothers or talented ones? If it's the latter I'd hardly have the brogans there! I know Bernard's bulked up but still. The Grimleys is a good call, two mountains of men. I'm surprised no-ones mentioned the O'Sé's yet! Any topic about brothers in the GAA usually has them mentioned a good few times. For ourselves at the minute, Dessie and JP Mone have proved a formidable defence at 2 and 3 this last couple of years, held Gooch and Donaghay scoreless last year. This year though, poor JP got a horrid time off "Star", a rare day for him.

The O Se brothers from kerry. When a tough stance is called for or there is a bit of physical stuff going on Thomas and Dara are always reliable. Are lads serious when they are talking about the Mortimers, I sincerley hope not, the O Se boys would slap them around like bould young lads!

The Grimleys were munsters of men, hard as nails. Some good passages in Oisins book about John. There other brother Paul was a hard man too (Kildare trainer). McEntee's are tough men too. Two Devlins from Tyrone in mid 90's were small but tough corner backs. Tomas and Darragh O'Se are hard men.

They might have been tough, but they weren't brothers. Not even from the same club.

Lot of sets of tough brothers mentioned, but, to give some credit to our neighbours, both McEntees and Downeys were tough as nails.
