irvinestowngael i wonder do u actually read back on ur IMMATURE little comments before u post them...what a load of crap! computer technology?? so clearly u wer not at the match on sunday, therefore i do not know how u see urself in any way viable to comment on this matter in the first place! i however was at the match and seen exactly what happened,---- actually swung for donnelly twice in the middle of the field unnoticed by the ref BEFORE the main incident, largely due to the fact that donnelly was getting the better of him and he could not take his beating. and this speak of donnelly giving abuse etc off the ball, i know i certainly did not see any of this, however, football is football, that goes on all the time on the pitch, the bottom line is that what---- done was outrageous. i dont know why anyone is bothering to even rise to the comments of irvinestowngael...i think everyone should leave the matter with the ulster council, let them deal with ---- to get the suspension he deserves and let trillick get on with their preparations for their next hurdle. they are a good hard working team with alot of spirit and a great club set-up behind them, anyone on here belittling or begrudging anything they have done or achieved is not a true gael of our sport! so all the best to trillick on saturday! i hope you's can do it! another great accolade for the tyrone county!!

All I'll say about the result was Trillick were very lucky that they met their Derry oppents, Greenlough on a bad day. I listened to the match on Q102 and Trillick faded after ten minutes and the game was level pegging until Greenlough went ahead in the second half and thats them in a lack lustre mode.

The story could have been quite different if the Derry men had to score that goal near the end which was a savour for the Trillick. I think Trillick's humilation is not to far down the line and we'll see if I'm not right.

As for winning Man of the Match, it must be easy or would a sympathy vote be more like it!!!

F##k up shamstowngeal!...
This year alone mattie brought St. Mics to the macory final when he roasted St. Eunans donegal senior player (cant mind his name) and gave a man of the match performance in the final when totaly out of position at full back. Then won Ulster minor League and Championship and All Ireland Championship with Tyrone. Kicked the drawing point in croker. And done alot of dog work for them, probably coverd more miles on the football pitch than your car has ever done! Then played a leading role for Triclick in the Tyrone and Ulster success kicking many points and another man of the match performance in Ulster final!

Now how can you say he is a bad player!?

Well done Trillick Nice to see them winning Ulster and shutting up the Dromore man . We were not given a chance by others on this boards when we played Dromore . But teams that have a good team spirt will always do well . Always hated going to play Trillick as it was always Tough . Good Luck for the rest of the Year what ever happens you have won Ulster

Tommy Truth you know nothing about football. My prediction may have been slightly wrong but how was I to know that the Derry lads would not perform as well as predicted. In any case, I hear it was no breathtaking performance and Trillick survived by the skins of their noses. Senior football will be a different story for them and we'll see how they will face up to it!

Drmorehtegreat (bull*******) Perhaps our Derry opponenets didn't play to their best but neither did our Trillick boys and they still won, there were a right few wides from the Trillick forwards.. It wasn't either teams finest hour but it was plain to see the entire match that the Trillick boys had the hunger and the team spirit to win the match. Oh and it was interesting to see so many Dromore faces in Trillick on Saturady night congratulating our boys, not running them down in the manner a tramp would be embarrassed off.. Seriously some of you Drmore Hogan standers are a disgrace to your club. Well done to Dromore on winning the league by the way..

In reply to trillicks 'local lass' its typical of you be so unpleasant and abusive rather than getting to the debate.
If you say dromore gaa people well in trillick to party wif you lot then they are far from being genuine Dromore supporters. I stand as any other Dromore supporter or player would behind the our clb 100% and there is no truck with our enemies.
Answer me tis local lass, did Trillick deserve to win? Be honest. Also, who really deserved to win the Man of the match? Be honest.

Dromore the NOT SO great, my answers to your silly questions are as follows:

YES - Trillick most definatley deserved to win the Ulster Championship
YES - Mattie Donnelly did deserve his man of the match title.. (could have shared it with a few of our boys though)

And as for calling me unplesant and abusive you are the man calling Trillick your enemy, catch yourself on wee lad, you havn't got a clue..

Typical Drmore head on here trying to aggrevate people....

whats the point arguing with these two ? one admits to listening to hunter, nuff said. the other is just annoyed dromore were relegated to mid sports pages of the irish news today, and that the new corner bar was empty on saturday night and dromore people had to head up the road to trillick for a decent nights craic and a bit of atmosphere!

Local lass, I think you celebrity liqour hasnt exhausted your bloodstream yet and when you back on your feet so to speak, you'll realise how irrational you were.
I cannot see more than a few 'milk-and-water' Dromore ones being anywhere near the Trillick party footprint.

I wish to pass on my sincere congratulations to the successful Trillick footballers on winning the Ulster Club Intermediate title and to their young star player, Matthew Donnelly on collecting the Man of the Match award.

As some already know, I teach in Tyrone and everyone at school today seemed so delighted for Trillick unlike some of your contributors on this forum.

don't worry about dromore the great...he comes from a club where underachieving is the norm

rayk67 you wouldn't be worthy of filling the boots of a Dromore players. Jealousy comes to mind.
Hopefully, after the media hype about lower grade football apparent success, everything will now be put in perspective and they will get back to real GAA topics.

Matty has a younger brother Richard, and apparently he is goin' to be twice the player of Matty.
But Matty is not a superstar and is the man you look to when the game is level, not a man who will willingly kick 12 points in a second half when the game is over more or less. A Game Winner.

rayk67 as a drumquin man myself. i honestly don't think Dromore are an underacheiving team no offence.
7years ago wer dromore not in 1b. an since they got promotion they won 5league titles in 6years an 1championship.
dont think thats an underacheiving team who's only being in topflight football last 6years.
