sheepshooter, Are you not taking me seriously, lets face it, its christmas, even in cavan, so turkeys have to be slaughtered, i was merely trying to keep it in a GAA context. do you think running them down with the pitch marker might be any more accepable to tom, who's feelings and thoughts we must all take in to account. iis there still a turkey market in ashbourne.

Dont know about the turkey market in ashbourne, we should ask nick from wexford, he seems to be an expert on meath/dublin border towns...

As for slaughtering the turkey, I apologise but I have an idea, strictly in GAA terms of course....

Heres What you need:
1. Turkey (alive and well)
2. Roll of industrial strength sellotape
3. Small step ladder or really tall fella from the local GAA club
4. Fully inflated O'Neills GAA football or Hurl and sliotar

Heres what you do:
Stick the turkey to the crossbar and....Game of Crossbar Challenge anyone??

Perhaps tomsmith you would refrain from posting ramblings about who should be allowed post in threads and what content they are allowed to post about, are you from china by any chance.....The only objections to posts I have seen so far are about your non-sensical ramblings!

Have you tried the cross bar challenge yet dHorse?

I enjoy the banter on here as it is mostly GAA related. Can anyone recommend an Irish site where all things can be discussed. Just light hearted banter is what i am looking for.

An fear rua is Gaa based but carries other stuff, of course this site is becoming very eclectic since tom started his cheap mango hunt.

Sheep Shooter;; Your ramblings are a disgrace to the Hogan stand board.
As I have stated to another deviant Mr Tomspit from USA aka Mr USA of superiority fame get some prepost advice from a sensible person (If such exists locally ) prior to posting on Hogan stand in general Any contribution to my treads is not welcome.
As for Chester 1970 and DHORSE both of you appear to have taken the above advice thank G--

Perhaps in future and you could state in a precise and clear manner once what your message is, and please respect Hogan standers ability to determine the content .

You seem to me to be a little spoilt, are you an only child? Or are you Paris Hilton in disguise? I wonder which county she supports (Gaa Theme)........

Well Mr Chester 1970 people from Armagh will say that you have gone away to Clare to teach in Limerick.
I would prefer that educated idiots is a phrase that should not be used to describe any form of mankind's inability to comprehend simple English , but I am afraid that the substituted version may sound awful .
As for your fellow traveller Sheepshooter I think that slow learners class may be too advanced for his ilk.

Are metaphors lost on you Mr Tomsmith?? Maybe you should look into doing a night class in some subject of your choice, maybe floristry or photography. Then you can move on to a class in Literacy, and you willbe taught how to put together a sensible and coherent message on your own(?) thread. Maybe you should keep that message board secret and only visit it yourself with messages...............

Sorry last thread didi not include Gaa reference. Should have included that this educational establishment that you could attend may have a Football or Hurling team. Good luck with finding a prospectus that will meet your needs!!
