Tim Crowley was another tough nut! I have memories of him bursting out of defence with hurleys breaking off him! I wonder what he makes of the lads that succeeded him! JayoCluxton (Dublin) - Posts: 2688 - 18/11/2008 10:39:26 143754 Link 0 |

Francie Bellew, Damien Burke and Matthew Clancy. The fact that the latter two are ridiculously undertalented is irrelevant! :) Milky (None) - Posts: 98 - 18/11/2008 11:31:03 143804 Link 0 |

Alot of people have gone for Mick Lyons and Liam Harnan type players who were well able to dish it out and were very tough opponents. I think the true tough cookies are the boys who have had to take it all the way up from underage at both club and county.. Peter Canavan is a prime example unclegerry (Mayo) - Posts: 1223 - 18/11/2008 14:20:31 143995 Link 0 |
