(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Both Kevin Foleys and Eoin Mulligans goals were unreal, serious goals.one of individual brilliance and the other from great team work from one end of the field to the next!!

Yeah this was a bit of a closed shop to be honest. Not once was Brian Mullins, Jimmy Keaveney, Paddy Cullen et al asked to do a liver fluke wormer ad, an ad for drenching, fertiliser, silage or anything like that. Discrimination against the Dubs I say!

I doubt the "urban cowboys" would have much call for that stuff on their ponies, i'd say the fertiliser was used for different things.

They probably think liver fluke was something you'd get after a night on the beer

Thousands of them. McDonald V Dublin, Johnny McGurk V Dublin, John McEntee V Enniskillen Gaels, about 6 from Kerry V Galway this year................

In hurling millions of great score. But D.J's goal against Galway in 97 was extra special.

Rory Jacob's v KK in the Leinster Semi Final in 2004 purely because it was the very last puck of the game. Marty Morrissey was still saying goal when the whistle went.

Saw loads through underage and club matches. Best one was an U-16 match v the county champions in which a player going sideways on the 65 with two men behind him planted the foot on the touchline and sent it straight over the black spot. Henry Shefflin would've got an all-star for it, him only 16 ffs!

On another note, watched a fella put over 3 sidelines in a Ryan Cup match 3 weeks ago, 30m, 40m and 50m. all in the first half. Whizzed straight over like a rocket. Unreal.

re: Jayo

ahh it is.. and here's a bit of a cure the next time you get it

" treatment of drinkers for liver fluke should be carried out at drying off and not during lactation, and also advised that all bought-in drinkers should be kept isolated and treated for liver fluke before joining the main herd or flock."

So you'd better isolated the blow in dubs ye'll get next year when ye win the all-ireland!!

Just when you mention John McEntee there patrique, it reminds me of an absolute peach he scored against Clontibret in Ulster, either last year or the one before, he had the ball along the end line on the right side about 50m+ out, drilled it over the bar with the outside of the left, some score.

oh and i forgot some of Rory McCarthy's goals for wexford, i seem to remember an overhead volley against, possibly, Cork in an all ireland semi final, which got them a draw match. And i don't think that was the first time him scored a goal like that, he had a certain penache for the spectacular goal..
