Rory Jacob's v KK in the Leinster Semi Final in 2004 purely because it was the very last puck of the game. Marty Morrissey was still saying goal when the whistle went. Benandonner (Antrim) - Posts: 459 - 11/11/2008 17:34:19 138831 Link 0 |

Just when you mention John McEntee there patrique, it reminds me of an absolute peach he scored against Clontibret in Ulster, either last year or the one before, he had the ball along the end line on the right side about 50m+ out, drilled it over the bar with the outside of the left, some score. mid-mon man (Monaghan) - Posts: 1680 - 11/11/2008 17:41:17 138843 Link 0 |
oh and i forgot some of Rory McCarthy's goals for wexford, i seem to remember an overhead volley against, possibly, Cork in an all ireland semi final, which got them a draw match. And i don't think that was the first time him scored a goal like that, he had a certain penache for the spectacular goal.. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1994 - 11/11/2008 17:42:00 138844 Link 0 |
