What I saw of Roary Kavanagh yesterday, it is a poor outlook for Donegal football when the man that was marking him who could be his father got man of the match. tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4030 - 17/11/2008 18:46:09 143349 Link 0 |

Pmolloy & Topdawg. You will see that Leo Mcloone is one of the up and coming stars in Donegal. And as everyone is talking about getting rid of dead wood (Bradley, how many chances had he) and bring in New faces, why not Leo Mcloone. As for walsh, he needs to be playing at a higher level every week, and then we will see how good he is. At least the 4 Names from Glenties i mentioned are in DIV1A. And might i add, Fine Footballers & young. The keeper (Donegal) - Posts: 711 - 19/11/2008 13:12:27 144898 Link 0 |

eddie gallagher originally from glenswilly played for na rossa for over thirty years. clever intellectual man who would do a great job at the top table. not that it would be too hard to replace the men before him dizzyb (Donegal) - Posts: 39 - 19/11/2008 16:16:02 145127 Link 0 |

Keeper ??? you say you need david walsh to be playing at a higher level week in week out to see what he can do??? he was one of donegals most consistent preformers this year so i think we all know what hes capable off and that hes definately worh his place. blusche (Donegal) - Posts: 1 - 19/11/2008 17:14:21 145214 Link 0 |

looks like rafferty is not committing, the potential is there but suppose like his club mates conal dunne and john haran they were never just able to step it up a gear come county level, hopefully mark mc gowan can be an exception to this and be more like a kavanagh although it took him a fair couple of years to find his feet Murt (Donegal) - Posts: 252 - 20/11/2008 23:27:19 146565 Link 0 |
John joe knows the divisions over the past 2 years after being there with Naomh Mhuire and I'm sure there will be a few lads from the lower divisions in the squad. At least you know they will give 100% commitment to the county, I'm not saying the current crop don't give it 100% but they take it for granted. They should be there afraid knowing that one bad performance could see them losing there place celtic88 (Donegal) - Posts: 17 - 21/11/2008 09:48:27 146683 Link 0 |
tomsmith, please is that really the way forward for donegal football selecting players who are past it. we need young players to inject a bit of vibrance into the panel. concentrating on the has beens will get us nowhere openminded (Donegal) - Posts: 1 - 21/11/2008 10:47:46 146738 Link 0 |

What about that former Westmeath player Kieran Ryan for fullback, who appears to be playing great stuff for St Eunans tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4030 - 23/11/2008 14:27:06 147858 Link 0 |
