Offthefence/onthefence perhaps you could refrain from attacking TomSmyth and deal with the substantive issue of this post ie that being what should John Joe Doherty's starting fifteen be, and subs. tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4030 - 12/11/2008 21:15:43 140027 Link 0 |
Here we go again, the fantasy football merchants who couldn't pick a subbuteo team! Experts like these have as much grasp with reality as those TV experts slated by R.Keane last week! Now is our chance to look at what we have. Why not let every club put forward players for trial (only players with serious potential), if every exceptional player gets a chance then no-one can complain. No club should be able to force their opinion on the Manager (which might have led to previous Manager leaving). Football is a simple game and if you play the best players you can't go wrong. McIver had the right idea in his first season but then came under pressure last season to play certain players. The Manager has to manage, be his own man, without interference. Interesting year ahead? 1glorioussummer (Donegal) - Posts: 62 - 13/11/2008 00:22:47 140172 Link 0 |

As John Joe is the new manager, no doubt he will be bringing up a couple from Naomh Mhuire. Who would they most likely be? celtic88 (Donegal) - Posts: 17 - 14/11/2008 09:24:34 141199 Link 0 |
