I am not a sore loser, Cavan were by far the better team and I would like to see them winning Ulster but for the life of me, I cannot understand the attitude of-------

ya must be a soft lad dennforever cos verbal abuse has been going on in the game for years now.....just admit ya dont like the gaels and quit makin up stupid excuses.....i heard there was lots of abuse directed at jelly & co in co final......pot kettle and all that stuff....
anyways good luck lads on sunday......it'll be hard without jelly but ya never know.....keep the faith.

I heard that Latton were a little unlucky against Ballinnderry and but for having a man sent off in the first half would have given a better account of themselves. Now Cavan Gaels have vastly more experience at this level than Latton and what with it being played in Armagh surely Cavan Gaels must have a good chance aginst the Derry Senior champions. I make the point about Armagh because Latton only lost by 4points with the game having being played in Ballinascreen.

First half Gaels stayed with them although the more astute of us @ half-time commented that if the inside line of Ballinderry wern't overplaying the ball at times it may have been a different story; that said there was still some cause for mild optimism if the Gaels could perform in the second half (even without Johnston); The young Murray lad burst through in the first few moments and could've shot for goal but opted for the fisted point instead; it proved to be a turning point; Ballinderry went on a point scoring spree & Gaels seemed to lose their way; didn't seem to have a game-plan or knew how to respond. Best performers were Forde, King in midfield who worked hard & young McClarey showed well up front but had very little support in the second half; Lyng made endless runs all day but wasn't found by the pass on enough occasions.

With regards to the challenge re fixtures......is this individual actually expect anyone to believe that its difficult?? I'm sure you shall find plenty of contributors for the 2009 fixtures on this site if ye can find the humility to request some assistance instead of locking the door & throwing away the key!!

well comiserations to the geals, disheartning for the county of cavan, cause it just shows how far behind we are at club level with other counties... to be outscored 12 to 2 in the 2nd half is some touch up, even the most loyal of geals men will have to admit that with jelly or any other player available they would not have won.... although muarryham will reckon different...
