gerald mccarthy played for cork thirty years ago class act.but lets face the facts he won nothing with waterford although he did improve them.then he is in charge of cork for two years wins nothing again.he is the only manager in cork hurling to get another two year contract for winning nothing.sorry gerald but time to stop been made an idiot of.surprise surprise teddy mac named as selector was he not part of the famous teddy holland crew last year.credit to sars but why wasnt bertie og picked.we have been a shambles since john allen, donal o grady and jimmy barry left.try another career gerald you are not up to it pearse9 (Cork) - Posts: 136 - 18/11/2008 12:30:34 143866 Link 0 |

See my post "Are players prima Donna's in each County" on the Cork board, and you will know what we up in Cavan think about the Cork players taking on a manager that is democratically elected tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4056 - 22/11/2008 20:48:38 147684 Link 0 |
Keep going Gerald the cheek of the players they are getting to big for their boots and the longer this goes on the easier it will be for KK to win a fourth in a row as I feel Cork are the only county that can really challenge them. theblindassasin (Meath) - Posts: 915 - 25/11/2008 19:13:38 149805 Link 0 |

The cork players are an absolute disgrace to their county. they should be damn grateful that they're playing for their own county when there's guys ardent to play on the team. they'll never win an all-ireland with that sort of attitude, never mind a munster title. Gerald McCarthy has shown real character and toughness is this Has to be admired because someone had to do it as teams are becoming harder and harder to manage and at the moment feel nobody matters only themselves.Well done Gerald westtrooper (Limerick) - Posts: 329 - 14/02/2009 20:17:05 206973 Link 0 |
To non Cork posters say what you like it doesn't concern me. To Cork people dont allow yourself to get bitter and further polarise the situation. The truth is that all Cork people want the same thing, a strong Cork side capable of taking on the best and hopefully winning an All Ireland. Both sides of this dispute contain men and women who love Cork, idolise hurling and who love the jersey. Don't allow yourself to be drawn into slagging the likes of Sean Og on one side and Gerald on the other. This dispute like the recession will end sometime, and we will need to join ranks and present a united front to all opposition. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 14/02/2009 22:18:19 207021 Link 0 |
