DBPC - will ya stop shouting. Yep Bernard is only on the first rung but has done all that is expected of himself to date and more. I really think he'll be better than Alan.

There have been so many it is hard to choose.

Hurling: Stout McDonnald, Dessie Cormican, Eddie Donnelly, some of the all stars, and possible star in the making in Neil McManus.

However you would have to give it to Kevin Armstrong, named on the team of the millenium for non all Ireland winners.

FOOTBALL: Even I don't know too much about the team that won 7 Ulsters in a row, so a bit more modern. Patsy O'Hara, Andy McCailin, Aidan Hamill, potentially Gerry Armstrong, but again I think we would have to give it to Kevin Armstrong.

CAMOGIE: Mairead McAtamney, named on the team of the millenium. And today Jane Adams who scored 2-11 in the all Ireland club semi-final at the weekend for Rossa. Possibly more success for Antrim (yawn).

Can only state for the past 25 years but:
Football - Mattie Forde and he's only been there a year but he has achieved as much as anybody in the past 25 years so Jason Ryan
Hurling - Liam Dunne (was going to be him or Martin Storey) - Liam Griffin

look at the Title again everybody.
I sure Micko Dwyer has been in every county in this country so all your answers for best manager Ever in Your County should be Micko.
As for your answers for best player it should be Jack O Shea but I can't vouch that he would have crossed the border of every county!!!!

DELLBOYPOLECAT - you have just seen bernard playing one season for dublin cos he was injured this year. take it from people who know they have seen him for ages.

bernard is/will be better. has as much speed as alan, is as strong but one major difference he is an out and out scoring forward. as long as i have been in dublin he has been perceived by club people as better and will prove that this year. im sure gilroy will have him as a focal point on his team and would expect him to chip heavily this season. all in all a very talented and from meeting their parents a very nice family
