Mick O'Dwyer because of the hype and excitement he's brought back to the county and the victory last year in tommy murphy brought tears to many eyes.
Best player Kevin O'Brien.. A true legend although Leighton Glynn might have something to say about that by the time he's finished playing football

The late Eamon Coleman as manager, and i can't choose between Tony Scullion and Anthony Tohill.

Can't speak for the players before the 80's as i never saw all of them play.

Billy Morgan manager-football. Donal Og would be my choice for the hurling! ;)

Would have to go for Jimmy Barry Murphy as my favourite player, in both codes. Coolest man on earth at the time!

My pick....Instead of two there is only one.

Following the conclusion of the 1976 championship Kevin Heffernan unexpectedly stepped down as Dublin manager. Hanahoe stepped in or should I say was pushed into accepting the vacant position with a little help from his St Vincent friends and family.. He now had the task of being captain of the side as well as the manager...(Imagine the pressure) with a very expectant Dublin City looking on!... In spite of all this he captured another Leinster title in 1977. He later led Dublin to victory against Kerry( In arguably one the greatest game's of football ever played in Croke Park) Apart from 2006! so Mayo supporters don't get all a flutter...!;) before gloriously claiming his third All-Ireland medal following the teams amazing victory over Armagh.

Tony Hanahoe. A true legend. Think of it.... a player/Manager of a senior All Ireland championship winning team. A hero of mine.

Best player - Peter McGinnitty although Barry Owens will probably be deemed better than him by the time his career ends

Best Manager - Going to say Charlie Mulgrew, brought us to within a kick of the all ireland final, but hopefully malachy o rourke will surpass what Charlie achieved

Bad.monkey (or any other Dub supporter), just a quick Q, is Bernard Brogan percieved to be better than Alan or vice versa?? I would have thought Alan was miles ahead?? A truly fantastic footballer, Dublins best in the last few years without a doubt IMO.

Best player - before my time but going by achievements alone - Kevin Armstrong - received a GAA All-Time All-Star award for football in 1988 and was named on the special GAA Hurling Team of the Century (for players who never won an All-Ireland medal). As far as I can work out these are the medals he won (I'm only dubious about the two minor medals).

Railway Cup (football) 1942; 1943; 1947; 1950.
Oireachtas Cup (football): 1946
Ulster SHC: 1940; 1943; 1944; 1945; 1946; 1947; 1948; 1949
Ulster SFC: 1946; 1951
NHL Divison II: 1956
Ulster MHC: 1938; 1939
Antrim SHC: 1940; 1941; 1942; 1945 (all with O'Connells)
Antrim SHC: 1947 (also with O'Connells)

Best manager - Jim Nelson

Alan is a great player but Bernard has the potential to be even better. He was incredible in the county final a few weeks back scored 0-10, 0-07 from play.
