Is it true just that there has been a patch of land been purchased around ballygawley that could be a new stadium that represents ulster? haven't heard much more from that time on the news but is it going to be followed through with! fingers crossed that it will! mon-errigal (Tyrone) - Posts: 189 - 02/11/2008 22:50:37 132120 Link 0 |

i'm surprised eglish hasn't been mentioned here! they've got a good big pitch with floodlights and very good changing facilities with a big gym and sports hall, i can name quite a few clubs eglish has better facilities than that you have all mentioned as being in the 'top 5'. for example edendork, augher, kildress, pomeroy, urney, drumragh etc.... the umpire (Tyrone) - Posts: 46 - 03/11/2008 09:15:57 132187 Link 0 |
id say Fintona would cover most of that criteria was at dromore and trillick game there easy parking well stewarted and away within 10minutes have to say the worst was Augher was at the dromore and coa island match took me 45minutes getting away disaster tyrone.sam (Tyrone) - Posts: 26 - 03/11/2008 14:25:31 132474 Link 0 |
would have ti say.....Drumragh and Brocagh have some fine facilities. must give stewarstown a shout out 2. some of the worst facilites in the county. Casio_helix (Tyrone) - Posts: 40 - 03/11/2008 19:50:34 132878 Link 0 |
Have to say Strabane have one of the best facilites at the moment massive car park but needs tarmac full size floodlight pitch sand carpet and they have a new sand carpet pitch to be played on this season in intermediate football. Also Urney have a great pitch although no warm up area yet but great club rooms. luther (None) - Posts: 44 - 03/11/2008 21:46:14 132953 Link 0 |
I know some might laugh but castledergs pitch is one of the best playing surfaces iv seen in a longtime, although the changing rooms are not in place yet it shouldnt take long, its in a great location and has plenty of room around it for further development, by no means a good ground at the minute but certainly one for the future, plus considering we had the worst pitch in the county for many years it is a true credit to the former committe in our club for their hard work over the years to bring such facilities to our town! dergboi (Tyrone) - Posts: 373 - 04/11/2008 14:19:00 133398 Link 0 |
Coalisland is actually a good pitch! May not be great for parking but other than that!! tyronelady (Tyrone) - Posts: 43 - 04/11/2008 15:56:04 133498 Link 0 |
No bother harps_boi sure thats what friends are for.... But you will admitt stewartstown arnt the best youth theam but at grade 3/4 they are the best! The record speeks for its self BallBhoy (Tyrone) - Posts: 201 - 04/11/2008 16:48:20 133558 Link 0 |

i agree ballbhoy, but wer developing them soon, wer aiming for a new pitch and tarmac ground along ith more car parking space in 3 years time hopefully! harps_boi (Tyrone) - Posts: 58 - 05/11/2008 18:08:25 134531 Link 0 |
Newtownstewart, Beragh, Carrickmore, Loughmacrory and the Coalisland pitch. Moy pitch isn't bad along with Donaghmore and Derrytresk have a good playing surface but what else? Eoin Roes also up there with the best facilities. GAAeal (Tyrone) - Posts: 72 - 05/11/2008 23:28:34 134756 Link 0 |
dunmoyle is a great pitch and a great new clubhouse but the location is a disaster, bad roads but other than that top class. tyrone_gael08 (Tyrone) - Posts: 9 - 07/11/2008 20:02:54 136473 Link 0 |
Ive played on manys a pitch in my time, dont think anybodys mentioned it yet but killymans as good a playin surface as there is in the county. Facilities are probably adequate at best but the field is a class surface. flumpo (Tyrone) - Posts: 100 - 09/11/2008 07:39:41 137010 Link 0 |

A lot of clubs have got excellent facilities compared to the standard of fields and facilties 10-12 years ago. black_pen (Tyrone) - Posts: 44 - 11/11/2008 13:08:46 138465 Link 0 |
