yea good team but i would have martin reilly and ronan flanagan in the half forward line, just my opinion,i think carr has more to work with this year and the cavan team should show some improvment, but i dont know how much

Flanagan not centre back. Third midielder or a roaming corner forward with the responsibility of launching attacks, which is his biggest strength

Cavanscout i think Forde is way off the pace not county standard anymore not sure bout mulvey either i have been to a few championship games this year and there's not a lot of talent out there im afraid at senior level lets hope we have a good pool of younger players coming through in the coming years, its Cavans only hope!!

Yeah fordes well gone at this stage- and as for Mulvey as a wise man once said hes not a first cousin of an intercounty footballer

yes i do take into account forde may well be off the pace as i haven't saw him much this year BUT, i do know he has never let cavan down in the past and would also bring a bit of much needed experience to a very young side i selcted.think its a fair comment.

patbonner i see you have sean brady as centre back and i agree with you. he has been playing there for castlerahan recently and is strong, good on the ball and good at starting attacks

Walshe can't get on the Gaels team at midfield so wouldn't put him on the cavan team. McDonald is like Mulvey...too lumbersome. Galligan fleeced Mulvey this year and Dunne did the same to McDonald.

I agree with most of the teams been listed, sean brady would be a good candidate for centre back, but podge has to fit in to the equation, also the likes of ciaran galligan, darragh gaffney, ronan reilly, david givney, ciaran shiels, raymond galligan should be given a chance, they all have the height and strength, also anton reilly and alan clarke these lads have to get a taste of senior county football and see how they go?

Any opinions?

Mulvey is big and strong but in my opinion is very slow and never looks fit enough for county football. I would not exclude him from the panel and make him work on his fitness and speed before he gets another chance. What we need is big fit men who can mix it with the best as we have so many small timid players at present. As the saying goes " a good big fellow is always better than a good small fellow " !!

Crash bang wallop.Put your team in.My only argument is not to use the U21 s for a few years unless they ve great strength. You ll ruin them
