I'm sorry lip but if that is your slant on what happened it's why the club is the way it is.

''LIP''

i tink 'lip' is either de man himself - the so called 'chief' or 1 of his supporters - a supporter which is also trying to run down the club.. i think its terrible that you cant see that supporting the ''chief'' is not doing any good for the club..

what the 'chief' did is wrong, as a coach it is most definitly not acceptable to roar at players in a harsh and violent manner and especially not if their juvenilles!!!

so ''lip'' are you saying its acceptable to verbally threaten a youngster? if so your blinded by stupidity lik our ''chief''..

dont get me wrong im not saying the ''chief'' is a bad man but his actions and way of running a football club were wrong..

and if the ''chief'' didn't like the way in which he was treated then he should have just apologised to the youngster he threatened and all of this speak of legal involvement would be gone!!! but his pride wont let him!!

is it true the "CHIEF" has a chap goin for chairman. Sad day for Graiguecullen football if this happens. We all know he will bring his own band of supporters to the AGM, so I hope the true Gaels of Graiguecullen turn up to vote against this happening

Yeah i heard the chief has a number of puppets going forward for key positions,he will be able to pull the strings in the background then. Sad man, our club is destroyed!!

As a passionate Graiguecullen CLG man i was saddened by what went on at the agm last nit. The chief is back in. My sympathy goes out to some of d outgoing committee, some of dem were true gentlemen and deeply sickened by what happened last night.

Hierachy is alive and well so...this will never change...."Chief" has 2 many supporters...things will never change in the club whilst he reigns!

just want to compliment the outgoing committee for the way they conducted themselves and the A.G.M last night, they showed great restraint and dignity. I have been to many an A.G.M and have never witnessed such behaviour. It just goes to show that mob rule is still alive and well. I fear for the future of our once great club.

have 2 agree with sentiments in last 2 messages. absolute disgrace the way the outgoing committee was treated. been a while since I have attended GCullen AGM but what was witnessed last night must leave all those who care about the club disgusted. Have too compliment the outgoing committee on their restraint. Roll on the formation of Graiguecullen Young Ireland,s. A club that will be founded on the constitution of the GAA, respectful of it,s youth, players, coaches and supporters. Let no one now in Laois be in any doubt as to what has gone on here in Graiguecullen, and I hope the representatives of the Leinster Council present last night give a true account of what happened.

Graiguecullen Young Ireland (Eire Óg)?????? are you for real?. anyone who thinks this is a good idea is a bloody fool, and couldnt give a sh1te about our club. I couldnt care less about either side in this arguement, but anyone who cant see that splitting and forming another club (eire og for god sake!!) is detremental to Graiguecullen in general, is truely deluded. Neither side covered themselves in glory last night, and this whole episode is making a laughing stock out of the club, but splitting our club is not and will never be the answer.

Deluded,do you really think that there is only one Young Ireland club in the country??? If you don't care less about either side in this argument you don't care less about the club then, as for making a laughing stock of the club, that honour goes to one man and you know who that is!!. Don't forget that all this man had to do was apologize to a 15 year old and all this would never have happened. That is the simple truth of the matter.

If spliitting the club is not the answer, what do the honest GAA people in the village do. Everytime an effort has been made to put in place constructive forward thinking people and committees one man and his faction have put obstacles in these peoples way.Our reputation being dragged through the gutter------. Look at what happened friday night, 54 people voted for his ---, 70% of who are never seen in the club or partake in any club roles.

I dont care less about the club? yea you're absolutely correct..........
All i know is that politics are ruining our club. the agm was reduced to an exchange of insults and a battle for power. Apart from a couple of motions at the end of the night, football was scarcely mentioned. I'll say it again, splitting and forming a new club is not the answer.

As i agin look over Wellington Bridge into the Occupied territories I am saddened by the continued Intifada. Democracy has had it's say and decisions must be respected.
Graiguecullen is too small for a 2nd club and would cause too much bitterness. Worse than Carla v Graigue! It's time to unite.
And what better reason than the threat of a 'Young Irelanders' Club! Didnt I tell ye already that the threat of playing in Carla would bring ye all together. Now this will! A great move to suggest it.
If a 2nd club is formed where will there be 2 protest marches? Or the 2 clubs could unite for the march!
What colours will the Young Irelanders be?

Deluded, checking my facts and recent local publication, it would not be the first time there was a Young Irelands in Graiguecullen. On the matter of football and motions i would have to agree there was little or no discussion, but then how could there be when you had the "Chief" and his little indian side kick rabble rousing. Believe you me there are a lot of football people disillusioned in Graiguecullen, among them the players themselves. I no more than anyone else want to see a split, but what was seen the other night and also what has gone on this past year is not the way forward for the club.

Hope all goes well down in Graigue. Sort it out lads as It would be a travisty if Arles Kileen were to prosper on Graigue's troubles and MORE players transfer out there. If players dont transfer to them they will dwindle away as they have no youth structures etc. Here's hoping !!!!!!
