good post boxty packie mc was indeed a great player mentioned by most of his peers in any team. patrique you are an ase i was referring to a football title of note in the ulster championship i forgot that when the word antrim is mentioned you include ceili dancing your own hurling championship and probably boxing, i think you will find that gerry might well be from belfast on paper but his roots lie in tyrone. reddoctor (Tyrone) - Posts: 1241 - 25/10/2008 16:28:46 126486 Link 0 |
Bald Eagle, I have no argument with you or your county. My argument is with Niamh only and her constant putting-down of Kerry. Fair enough if you want to come to her defence because she's from your county, but you wouldn't see me coming to the defence of Ciarrai Abu. 3inarow08 (Kerry) - Posts: 2455 - 25/10/2008 16:40:31 126491 Link 0 |

patrique i have never mentioned kilkenny football team in any post and obviously ure rattled by your lack of hurling kudos re antrim, obviously you would rather antrim dominate ulster in the old hurling rather than get hammered by dublin n lenister i suppose you can argue for a westmeath antrim pitch opening in cushendall in 2010 to decide the rightful ulater championes for that year my god what a clown. reddoctor (Tyrone) - Posts: 1241 - 27/10/2008 10:06:06 127030 Link 0 |
I have just been informed that great hurling players do not count on this thread. This is a football thread. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 27/10/2008 13:36:22 127232 Link 0 |

Tommy Walsh? I agree, gave a powerful display in last year's Tommy Murphy final, the best display of high fielding I have seen in years. Alas, it is unlikely that Wicklow or his native Carlow will make a break through. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 10/11/2008 01:04:57 137285 Link 0 |

Will Tommy Walsh be Kerry captain next year after Kerins O'Rahillys winning the county title? mid-mon man (Monaghan) - Posts: 1680 - 10/11/2008 13:29:39 137561 Link 0 |

Tommy Walsh already has about 4 all-Ireland medals and a hurler of the year to boot. Keep up lads. mossbags (Galway) - Posts: 1089 - 10/11/2008 15:28:12 137669 Link 0 |
Ah right sure I didn't realise that, didn't see that they were playing Mid-Kerry. I suppose the fact they already played their Munster game threw me, bit funny that they play it before their county final isn't it! I know that amalgamations can't play in Munster but watching the game vs Nemo yesterday made me think they'd already won Kerry, remember hearing about them doing well a while ago so just assumed they won it out. Who would be favourites for the final then? mid-mon man (Monaghan) - Posts: 1680 - 10/11/2008 15:28:22 137671 Link 0 |
