Honours are won at the end of the season not the start. Perhaps its different in your neck of the woods.

Whats the storey with Naomh Ultan this year is there players injured gone away because i was chatting to a man involved with redhughs and he said redhughs where missing 10 senior players as well thru hurling and injurys on saturday things not going well at both clubs this year. Some fine young players coming thru with yous up the ranks as well they will need year or 2 more before they start pushing for senior???

Red Hughs were missing no ten players. The story with Naomh Ultan is that their are building a young team, give them time they'll come good.

They are missing a serious amount of players.

Sean Sweeney, Kieran Callaghan, Kevin Melaugh, Anthony McDaid, Warren Scanlon, Carl Scanlon, Seamus Penrose, Martin Bonner, Michael McMenamin is 9. All these would be first team starters.

They'l need it to, looking like the wooden spoon for them this year. Just have no footballers! Hows the graduates from this great minor team of last year doing?

Lifford_abu its a bit early in the season to be making predicitions like that don't you think. You should know that medals are giving out at the end of the season. Actually wait a minute no.... you wouldn't have any experience of that in Lifford now would you!!

Thats rich coming from a naomh ultan man!!! What have they won in the last 6 or so years? A division '2' minor championship

Watch this space, facts state that lifford are flying in the league, and are more or less in the semis of the championship with no disrepect to letterkenny gaels

Alot more than Lifford anyway!! Lifford have never won an adult title (league or championship) and have never been out of the basement division!! A dire statistic when ya consider that it is a county town after all!!

Lifford has had a lot more success than your club anyway, our senior team reached the final of the county championship in 99,05 and 07. Get your facts right the next time

Success isn't defined as 'reaching a final'. Well not in successful clubs, maybe it is in Lifford and thats why yous have never won anything. Naomh Ultan won intermediate twice.

I agree with boydonegood.I feel building a club.building underage teams and developing eveyone involved is important.I think if a club can fill these goals at the end of their year it will be a succesfull club. Its about working hard now to reach the finals in the future.Personally i dont know how naomh ultan are in these departments but im sure they are trying to work hard to make the club a success

whats the story with young lyons, he clearly looked injured during the dungloe v naomh ultan game last night yet they kept him on, he probably won the game for them but at what cost to the lad? he looks like a nice prospect but he must be protected

Cos boys like you seem to have more interest in them than in your own club.
