HOUSERULES:

Would you be a closet N.Ultan supporter(seen very interested in them)

Ref from St.Nauls inspected pitch on Saturday and seeing you are such a harding Gaa person you should know that a ref has to inspect the pitch before a game can be called off so get your facts right before posting your messages in future.

There was a soccer game on last Sunday. Only two minor players played for Dunkineely on Sunday and were not part off either reserve or senior galic teams this year. Ya cant blame them.

Fair point. I will bear in mind what you have said in future. By the way I am from nowhere near Dunkineely, just to let you know. I from the east of the county!

Was talkin to a man yesterday, who informed me N Ultan maintain they will struggle to fill all the positions at their AGM and will also struggle to field at most underage levels next year. Any truth to this, or if so what has gone wrong in Dunkineely?

Believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

Also, are you a closet Naomh Ultan fan? Do you have posters of Martin Shovlin plastered over your bedroom wall?

Because for a man apparantly from the east of the county you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with them. Who is your club by the way?

I am former RH clubman, retired living outside Donegal Town , and have always had great time for N. Ultan down through the years. I feel it would be a pity if what I heard was through. I take it you are from Dunkineely? By the way I dont have posters of Martin Shovlin all over my bedroom.

Div 3.

A former Div 1 and 2 team in the past 10 years. A massive dive in fortunes has seen them stuggle year on year.

Prospects dont look good either.

5 clubs in Donegal will go out of existence in the next 5-10 years. This club is currently at risk as is Pettigo, Newtown, Na Rossa (they wont have the number)

I am not saying people not doing the work, I feel they are light on numbers etc.

Convoy is as big a risk as any of them Norman.

Have been one of the worst junior teams in the county for quite a number of years now.

And with Convoy Arsenal on the rise alot of their players will jump ship and concentrate only on soccer.

Worrying times indeed.

Its funny the way this polls goin from naomh Ultan being a club on the up...now their not going to even have a club in 5 to 10 years years in "Normans" opinion...

Terrible news to hear a culb struggling a club with such a small catchment area it's always good to see them beat the odds especially being sandwiched between St. Nauls and Killybegs who have poached players off them down through the years. If the club does go under(And I hope it doesn't) who will the players opt to play for....???? A very tricky decision...!!!!

St. Nauls or Killybegs who will the N Ultan Posters opt for ...????

Maybe tell us yourself, since you are one of the Dunkineely gang? Which would you support?

Club won't be going under. The buzz of the minor success this year will spurr them on to greater things in years to come. But hypothetically speaking would pack it in before I'd play for either.

Totally agree with your comment. Wouldnt see any player go to their neighbours!
After hearing today, that Naomh Ultan must play Division 1 nest year at under 16 level.. This would be a great experience, but i think its hard to believe they expect them to play division 1,with 14 players they managed to make two county finals but surely they couldnt make an impact ?

Suprised by you last comment there about N Ultan U16s. Even if they struggle with results, the experience will do these lads good.
