just lookin through yer teams there for teams of the year. some good sugguestions but i'm suprised to see that nobody mentioned gareth hagney from portumna at wing back...he was prob the most consistent wing back in the county this year. he was called into galway panel last year but didnt go.

p.s.....before ye start i'm not fro portumna

Fargo, are you from clarinbridge by any chance? U picked 4 clarinbridge players?! Your team hardly reflected this years championship! You picked 6 portumna players, 4 c'bridge!, 3 loughrea, 1 mellows, 1 craughwell and NOT ONE gort player!

Granted C'bridge gave Portumna a decent game but they didnt even have a great year. They werent tested in that group and over the year didnt take any big scalps: Ardrahan, Beagh, Kinvara, Padraig Pearses. And they even lost to Tommie Larkins! Possibly Mark Kerins was worthy of a place, but surely not the others. Im not saying a player from a team that didnt go that far shouldnt be represented (far from it) but I wouldnt agree with that selection at all

Amazing Mc Clearn has never played for the seniors, hes on every team on this thread and is the best full back in the county since Cloonan lost form 3 years ago. He just wasn't asked in last year! Lets hope Bond takes over and he'll get his chance. Moore Mc Clearn and Canning for me next year.
