Well done mitchels i was at the game yesterday in what was terrible windy conditions i have to say they handled them brilliantly. They also i dont no if this sounds harsh but (bullied) connollys all over the pitch. scot (Tyrone) - Posts: 35 - 20/10/2008 08:39:30 122198 Link 0 |

scot im not too sure what you mean by the term BULLY but what i seen in the game is mitchells playing connollys off the pitch especially in the second half. where connollys did not have an answer for anything that mitchells threw at them. so dont be comin on ere now with pathetic excuses as to why mitchells won clearly they were the best team now go back onto the training ground and prepare for next year willferral (Sligo) - Posts: 117 - 20/10/2008 10:43:57 122277 Link 0 |

Willferral, I think scot was having a go more at Connolly's than Mitchells, that they let themselves be bullied. As far as I'm aware there's no law against bullying your opponents, in fact, it's probably a prerequisite to being champions here. Hope ye can do it to Tara in the final as well, any word on the venue and date for this game? dowchabiy (UK) - Posts: 204 - 20/10/2008 11:10:35 122294 Link 0 |

willferal i was actualy giving use boys a bit of praise i just liked the way use won near enough every ball in the middle and first to every breaking ball it was as if use wanted it more.i thought your no.5 had a cracking match. scot (Tyrone) - Posts: 35 - 20/10/2008 11:53:30 122339 Link 0 |

i think the scots lads didnt know what hit them yesterday - didnt use the wind at all in second half but mitchells were on top form. willferrel you big bully cheryltweedy (UK) - Posts: 3 - 20/10/2008 15:27:32 122625 Link 0 |
Was disappointed in DC's challenge yesterday- expected them to be a lot closer. I think it was the intesnity of the game that they weren't prepared for. They couldn't get hold of the breaking ball, and kept losing the ball in the challenge. Patrick, Paul and John (None) - Posts: 81 - 20/10/2008 16:24:49 122693 Link 0 |

Congrats to Tara and Mitchels for getting to the final, seems tara got it tight up in Leeds and Mitchels won quite easily against connollys. YankeeDoodle (Tyrone) - Posts: 6 - 21/10/2008 11:18:39 123162 Link 0 |
so its tara of london v john mitchels of liverpool. who are the favourites going in to the final?? i probobly would have favoured taras until the weekends results. by all accounts mitchels were very good v dunedin but what has convinced me is the fact that on sunday evening i spotted a mitchels player running down the m6. to be back in training so soon after their semi final is massive commitment and especially in the weather conditions on sunday evening.. imagine imagine (UK) - Posts: 43 - 21/10/2008 15:01:00 123336 Link 0 |
I'll be cheering for Tara if only because of wilferral and his toy throwing antics above. Me? Fickle? Nah. Wests_Awake (Galway) - Posts: 877 - 21/10/2008 15:16:30 123353 Link 0 |
it all depends what Tara team show up in the final they have had only one very good performance this year and that was against the shamrocks in the replay. That was the only time this year they showed their true potential. JM definitely seem like the form team. I think it should be very close. where will the final be, birmingham is it? Whoever wins I hope will keep up the training and give the ALL IReland series a proper go. pronane (None) - Posts: 324 - 21/10/2008 15:37:23 123381 Link 0 |
