I'd have Mayo at a somewhere between Clare and Wicklow after today so something a bit off with these rankings!

At least Mayo lost to a good Div 1 team. Remind me what Meath did again?

There is no glory in losing so no point in picking the match Sunday as an example. Down from Div 3 just knocked out the Ulster and Div. 1 League champions out of Ulster Sunday. The rankings are irrelevant really for championship knockout competition. There will only be medals handed out for the provinces and All Ireland winners.

Those rankings are a load of me b***o*. How can Down be ranked in the top 16 when they are not in the top 16 for the championship.

This is a daft thing compared way more scientific one on boards . Anyone can beat anyone in Championship on a given day now. League form has to be better barometer
