U13 - U17 - development camps - open to all - Kerry Jersey handed out - builds that desire to be a Kerry footballer.
District Football - from U14 up to senior - giving all players access to highest possible standard of football in their age grade - regardless of club size.

Knock out football - historically all Kerry players play club championship and county championship - twice as much knock out football as anyone else.

They recycle former players back into coaching - so kids are coached by their hero's.

Senior county coach, generally coaches underage teams first - building the team, loyalty etc. No outside ringers on big money (bar the odd coach)

They do a lot right, and have a county wide style of play ingrained in all players. Those principles of playing are engrained as muscle memory, which means those good habits stand up under the highest pressure.

The bigger question is after watching them reach 60+ finals and win 39 - when will everyone else cop on and copy what Kerry are doing - clubs across the country copied Donegals defensive football form the 2010's. Its a lot harder to do what Kerry are doing."

Interestingly, there have been 5 different winners of those 9. Considering the first 3 were the second half of Dublin's 6 in a row, that's not bad at all.
It does suggest the format change has made the championship more competitive and open."
