Bizarre Penalty Incident

In the Slane v Syddan jfc game a Slane player cauuught the throw in and kicked it sixty yards the wrong way into a Sydddan attackers hands putting them clean in on goal where he was hauled down for a converted penalty.

Never seen the likes before.

Tight game therafter ended 1-11 each meaning if Slane avoid defeat in their last game against the Vincents they go through alongside the Ardcath side
