I just erequest that the Gaa give woman a break in Gaa officialdom, as it currently appears that not many Woman officiates at a high level in big Gaa matches . It rare to see a Woman Referee a big male Gaa game and indeed I wonder when will a woman Referee a male Senior All Ireland . The great Mrs T has indicated that Maggie Farrelly Cavan and Siobhan Doyle Donegal very few females have Refereed at a high level
The main reason is women are banned from being playing members of a GAA club. What would you ref or coach matches for an organization who doesn't allow you play?
Until the ladies GAA or Camogie are allowed into the GAA, they isnt much hope of getting ladies refs - there are barely enough refs for the ladies games as it is

Ahem.....how do you explain then how the majority of referees for camogie and LGFA matches are men????
And quite likely the majority of coaches of camogie & LGFA teams too.
All those men are refereeing and coaching in organisations who wouldn't have allowed them to play......
