Ratoath very much deserving champions this year but hunger is a big thing. If Trim can convince a few players to return they could be very dangerous. I wonder will Kildalkey fall further back or is there still a kick in there " older " players who still are very much capable.
Kiltale were a missed pick from winning the championship so write them off at your peril!
Kilmessan just missing a few older players but they will get there

While we obviously will be favourites in 2026, it's lunacy to write any of the other big teams off. Trim were there or thereabouts for most of the semi final against us until we got our few quick goals to kill them off. If they have players returning, they'll have a great chance. Kiltale should have beaten us the first day out in the final and will take encouragement from that for 2026. Kilmessan look like they're improving and hard to know where Kildalkey will be but wouldn't write them off.

We're the first team to go back to back since Kiltale's great 5-in-a-row team but I still think we're a long way off their quality. They seemed to have an aura of invincibility at the time and were dreadfully unlucky, in my view, not to win at least one Leinster title (think they narrowly lost to the Kilkenny champions in successive seasons where both went on to win the All Ireland).

definitely appear to be better crowds at the games I've been at. New format really puts pressure on. With Kildalkey losing 2 games, they are going to find it hard to qualify. So that leaves 4 teams left for 3 spots.
I was at Kilmessan / Kiltale and Kimessan completely took over for 20 minutes of 1st half which ultimalety won them the game.The 2nd half was very poor I thought and Kiltale hit an amazing amount of wides.
Trim the team to beat at this point although their game vs Ratoath will have a say in the final standings

It was so bizarre and out of the blue to see Johnny leaving, and he's done a great job in my opinion. While it's certainly a shame we obviously respect his decision and the need to spend time with his family.

I'd say another out of county manager. We don't really have great hurling management infrastructure here.

What about the Under 20 manager Sean Corrigan. Done i think 3 years with the 20s and had a good campaign in the leinster proper this year and all the young lads on the Meath team would have played under him at under 20 level. Plus he was selector with the seniors this year
