Unfortunately since 2002, all quarter finals have been played in Croke Park. This followed a motion by Roscommon to Congress, when they won the Connacht title in 2001 & didn't get a game in Croke Park. Roscommon won Connacht but lost the All Ireland quarter final to Galway in a match played on a damp August evening in McHale Park in Castlebar.
