Was thinking about this having seen mention on the Munster thread of Waterford lads not getting all star consideration now they're out. I don't have an issue with that particularly but got me thinking. I'd go

1 Quaid (Hardest call, don't think anyone has stood out)
2 Barry Nash
3 Eoghan Connolly
4 Darren Morrissey
5 Craig Morgan
6 Kyle Hayes
7 Ronan Maher
8 Adam English
9 Cian Kenny
10 Cian Lynch

Agree with you entirely. But as you can see from my one reply (I'm a kind person) and no others, nobody actually cares!

Had actually meant to reply to this one myself as well.

Think that both Lee Chin and Stephen Bennett would be absolutely nailed on for awards if they were given out right now. Unfortunately though, neither has a hope in hell when the real thing comes around later in the year. Others who give great displays in the provincial finals and All-Ireland series will overtake them.

I wouldn't call it recency bias and I think it's natural the later stages outweigh anything that happens in the provinces. Maybe unfair on the likes of Chin and Bennett who play well above the standard their teams set but the knockout games are where it really matters
