The weakest team or 2 in that province in any given year never even played Kilkenny. Noone is saying the 2 or 3 best teams in Munster in any given year aren't better than most of the Leinster teams in any given year, but it's frankly nonsense to say for example that the 2022 Tipp and Waterford teams that finished the round robin would beat any of the Leinster top 4 teams handily, or even beat them at all.

Out of interest the last time your own county was knocked out of the championship, where were the team that beat you from? And the time before that was it a Munster county knocked you out? No it wasn't. Clare were the last Munster county to knock Limerick out of the championship and it wasn't today or yesterday.

What Munster teams have knocked Limerick out of the championship since 2018? NONE of them."
Last time a Munster county knocked Limerick out was Clare in 2016.

The reality is put all the teams in the same championship. The top 8 would show four or five from Munster. One or two from Leinster and one from Connaught. Ulster would make it with one in the top ten. Kilkenny would still be as usual be in the top two. Limerick are still number one. Galway would be in the top four as would Clare. Tipp, Cork and Wexford and Waterford chopping at the ones in the top four.

I see this was written 90mins before 4pm. Galway looked closer to Joe McDonagh cup than 'top4' today.
