Only 2 hurling games is scandalous

Replying To Pikeman96:  "Have been to Lanzarote a few times over the past five years or so, and know that Dicey Reilly's in Puerto del Carmen generally shows every GAA match it can. Unlike several other "Irish" bars, who'll generally show Premier League soccer rather than football or hurling.

It's an upstairs place, near the main shopping centre there. Run by a Wexford man who's a bit of a character, and absolutely nothing upmarket about it (!), but you should see the match all right.

We've also stayed in Costa Teguise, and found Mulligans pub to be the best bet there.

Don't know about any of the other resorts."
Thanks, I'll check them ones out

The Bodhran in PDC has all GAA just off the strip.

Am I the only one who thinks the amount of league games on TV is great; Appreciate what we have.

6 games to pick from this weekend if i'm not mistaken.

You couldn't beat it.

I actually think it's great too.

Not that long ago that RTE didn't show any league matches at all, and people talked about what a fantastic job TG4 were doing instead.

Well, TG4 are still showing the same number of matches, and now RTE are showing eight more on top of that.

Why complain????

Another great example there of officials refereeing what they think they've seen, as opposed to what they've ACTUALLY SEEN. Kerry defender slipped around a ball that was hopping marginally on the ground, and made a struggling attempt to pick it. Ref made the kneejerk leap to award a free in, but replays showed no infringement whatsoever. Derry knocked over the 'free point'.

In fairness the ref is poor tonight. Derry seem to be allowed run with the ball for any amount of steps and no over carrying being called against them. Also very soft frees being awarded to them. No doubt its a very tough job to referee a game but some of the decisions being made tonight are baffling. In saying that Kerry are not helping themselves in this game tonight. Can really only blame themselves if they lose this game with the amount of chances they have messed up tonight

Derry won by a point, thanks to late free. They recovered well after conceding two Kerry goals. I thought they were slightly the better team tonight. You would not think that from the post match analysis from some of the panel tonight.
