It could be be very surprised. Main interest for me be the winning margin.

I think that won't matter Barney. If we beat Carlow we will beat Kilkenny.

My team for Sunay v Carlow.
Fanning
S Reck L Ryan E Ryan
C Foley D Reck M O'Hanlon
C Hearne R Lawlor
L Og Mcgovern L Chin C Dunbar
S Casey C Mcdonald R O'connor

I named Dunbar hesitantly as I'm not sure he has the physicality and tends to drift in and out of games but I'll give him the nod because he has experience and on his day can get a few scores.
Casey to Replace Cian Byrne is a no brainer for me.
He always has an eye for goal and that could be a valuable asset in this game.
No need for changes anywhere else barring injuries.

I do believe it. I'm not saying that's what definitely will happen though.

Agree with you on Dunbar thats why Jacko is a big loss for us and long term issue Oisin Foley

Jacko isn't the most physical player either. He is big. There is a difference. Jacko is a very skilful hurler, excellent striking off both sides. And good at finding space. They would be his biggest strengths. He's not great at catching or winning dirty ball.

I'd rather Dwyer than Dunbar but would agree with the rest of that team for Sunday.

Key to winning is having options in forwards the balance between winning ball workrate and scoring thats the dilemma rossy has . Balance was good v Galway. Maybe move lawlor to forwards and kfoley to midfield if fit. think with jippo bsck we don't look as vulnerable through midfield to full back line . Loads of options to move in and out Ie chin foley lawlor Rory it has to be fluid when it's needed. Keep them guessing try create panic in their defence. But be able to revert to defensive structure too when needed. We have enough cm scoring options if okayed right way to keep Carlow honest at the back and nit give them time to bulid and create from the back

Unfortunately Kevin Foley has not impressed enough in recent games to be considered for this game. Kevin has been a great servant to Wexford for many years now but to play him would be a mistake imo. To pick players on reputation is old school and does not happen in the modern game.
The team that lined out against Galway is the team to go with. Of course changes have to made in the absence of Jacko and Cian.
Formertownie who would you drop if Kevin was picked? I presume it would be Dunbar as it was him that replaced Jacko the last day.

Already missing jacko and cian, casey for cian .
I'd consider eoin whelan as replacement too if available for squad . Dee if fit to midfield and Richie to wing yes Dunbar drops out But as I said I think we need lads that are fluid and can be switched around without too much interruption.
Richie ,dee, Liam og, chin, Rory , foley fit this role We won't have the pace and industry of cian unfortunately . Macs influence will be the deciding factor I think be it his workrate and his scoring, ball winning ability . If on sing we ll win if not he needs to be taken out .
Chin and mac side by side in full forward line works at times but has to be changed to not be prdictable as happened v Galway.
I think Rossi will have his work done and have similar plan to v Galway be it tweaked for the absence of jacko and cian . Tucker could replace jacko similar traits . Casey for cian most likely hard to change winning formula .
We need to impose our game on Carlow and not just try stop them . Commit and drive on . No let up on effort . I don't think complacency as duch is the problem v so called weaker teams I just think we are less focused and lose concentration we don't have a cruising tempo like the top teams at present .

I'm not sure if you can feel tension through the Internet, but we must be as close as it comes to it on this thread!

Won't be easy for sure but I expect Wexford to quietly take care of business on Sunday. Great chance of progressing to Leinster final and some of our lads won have many more chances left. It won't be lost on them.

Im very nervous about this game Viking. Its vital we get off to a good start and keep control of the game. We cant allow Carlow get their tails up like Saturday

When do we ever quietly and professionally take care of business? You can't say we weren't warned about Antrim either, especially after being caught by Westmeath last year. I definitely have far more confidence in a performance and result against Kilkenny than Carlow. As mad as that is to say, I'm seriously worried about the weekend.

Tension is the perfect term.

But forwarned is forarmed as the saying goes.

Carlow will come at us like a train. Awhile ago I wrote this team lacked an identity to what we were. Against galway I saw an identity. A team that hassles on the front foot. A team that doesn't allow the other team to breathe.

Intensity is the key word for sunday if we bring the same intensity and doggedness we did against Galway we have a good chance. Anything less than that we are in trouble.

Cian Byrne is a massive loss. As he is pure intensity to borrow a soccer term " he leads the press"
