Per my calculations, we're 19 points behind Dublin on points difference so that's a big bridge to gap; realistically, we'd need to beat Carlow well (Don't see that happening) and then Kilkenny to beat Dublin well (Could happen as I'd imagine Lyng will wield the axe and they'll be a bit backs to the wall although Parnell Park is a lot more difficult than Croke Park)

Mind you, we only have ourselves to blame given the position we found ourselves in against Dublin late on

I'm fairly sure that if we win out, we're guaranteed a Leinster final and at the same time, if we lose out, we'll be reliant on both Galway and Carlow to beat Antrim in Corrigan Park for us not to be relegated

Other games are nothing to do with us.

We need to win our games and we're in the Leinster final same situation as last week.

I make it 7 years on the bounce now that Leinster is producing a better championship than Munster.

16 points I think. But regardless Carlow proved they're not just there to make up the numbers. Any risk of taking them for granted is gone.

Kilkenny will be on it now as well.

All we can do is try and win our remaining games.

Dublin v Galway is a huge game now too. Basically knock out.
Hopefully Antrim can produce a big performance against Galway too.

Define a better championship Doyler. Leinster risk more competitive than it was but standard wise I wouldn't compare it to last night for example or other games TippvWat or ClareVLim. Great to see Carlow get a result like that but you feel Kilkenny will have something in them yet. Probably playing Carlow at the right time; they will surely have one eye on there last game v Antrim

Clare v Limerick wasn't a great game of hurling in fairness

Well done Carlow. Great to see the minnows of the hurling world capable of providing a shock result against the cats.
We have got to play out of our skins against them next week. They will be full of confidence and it's in their own backyard. A huge home support will be there and they most definately won't fear us.
Our record against the so called weaker counties is very poor and Carlow will believe they can beat us.
Are we once again going to fall flat on our faces and allow them to dictate? Hopefully not, but with Wexford you never know. As Rory O'connor said after the Galway game " I would hate to be a Wexford supporter".
Kilkenny might have taken their eye off the ball yesterday but great credit to Carlow.
That was a massive result for them.
If we play like we did in the park last week I honestly believewe will win but if we bring our B game to Dr Cullen park there could be another shock on the cards.

Was up in Offaly, a good display. We were easily the better team in what is a very tough place to win. Overall happy, but will need to be better again against Dublin to have a chance of reaching a leinster final, (which would be great). Sean O Brien is an excellent prospect. Talk up there yesterday, was that the semi finalin Parnell Park. How could we have to play them at home again this year?

The funny thing is that if you were to ask me to pick the best five four forwards from both Dublin and Carlow, I'd pick one Dublin player on Dónal Burke and three Carlow players in Chris Nolan, James Doyle, and Mouse Kavanagh. This is not to say that Dublin are bad, it's just that Carlow genuinely have a lot of talent in that forward line plus they have Kevin McDonald at centre-back who's a very good ball-player

I only saw the last few minutes so can't tell but I would imagine at the same time that the KK having to play with 14 men impacted things big time as did the fact they hit 17 wides. KK hit 1-15 from play compared to Carlow's 1-10 and out of that 1-10, 0-06 came from Carlow's six starting forwards which isn't huge (Although Boland and James Doyle came on at HT and will likely start next week). Also read somewhere that KK kept on launching ball after ball to Kevin McDonald who was playing as the spare man

Carlow are a good side (And I'd rate them a lot more than Antrim), they had a goal wrongly given against them in the Dublin match when it should have been a square ball but that said, if we replicate our intensity from the Galway game, we should be fine. That's easier said than done though

Because they finished in the top 2 in the Round Robin.

Watching KK v Carlow yesterday and a few things to note
Kilkenny obviously left off a few lads with niggles with Dublin and Wexford in mind and paid a heavy price.

Carlow are really decent and better than antrim

Chris Mooney was hard on Kilkenny as he was when we played Westmeath

The standard overall may not be as high yet it's extremely competitive

Cody and Carey definitely have more than niggles and are unlikely to play against Dublin. Kilkenny played their best available team.

Big game ahead Sunday. I think Carlow are just as good as Antrim and we will have to play much better than we did in Belfast. Jacko and Cian will be a loss. We need everyone to step up Sunday.

It will be scoreboard analysis but Saturday is make or break.
Win, and all is good and a shot off Kilkenny for the Leinster final.
Lose, and that point for Carlow v Kilkenny will turn out to be a disaster for Wexford.
But, at least forearmed is forewarned. Go up and take care of business and don't sleepwalk in to another terrible result.
Kilkenny played most of the game with 14 men after all.

Great weekend of championship action again, what a championship it has been so far.

Carlow pulled off a brilliant result for them, while aided by the referee at times I thought.

Carlow are better than Antrim and they have shown that with three solid performances with Saturday being the best of them. Antrim have won one game and taken two serious beatings in the other two games so they are very inconsistent. Carlow will take great confidence from Saturday but Wexford shook take great confidence from the Galway performance. You could argue that Wexford may be in a better place with the weekend they had off, Saturday surely took a lot out of Carlow but we will know that very quickly when the ball is thrown in Sunday.

Kilkenny look vulnerable all of a sudden with the injuries they have suffered, other teams seem to have avoided major knocks bar Limerick who lost Seán Finn at the weekend to add to Peter Casey. Dublin really helped their scoring average on Saturday and will really look forward to KK coming to Parnell at the weekend.

It is really all to play for in both provinces.

Not sure but its rumoured he has a broken finger and looked like he may have pulled or strained his hamstring v Galway before being taken off

Antrim were once again beaten out the gate by Dublin. Beaten by 20 points. Kilkenny beat them by 32 points. They simply can't live with top 8 sides, unless of course they are playing Wexford. Nobody seems to know the reason why we struggle big time against weaker teams.
Carlow will be licking their lips in anticipation of playing us. They know we are vulnerable against lower ranked teams and will go out believing they can win.
It's up to us to stop the rot in this regard and play like we did v Galway.
If we go with our fast running game and get the ball in quickly to Mac, Rory and Chinner we most certainly can build up a winning score.
With Jippo back to his best and Damien holding the centre we now look solid in vital positions.
Cente field with Hearne and Lawlor give us speed with skill and can create scores for our front men.
If Kavanagh and Nolan are curtailed we can and should win this game.
But to be honest if we manage to lose I for one won't be surprised.
