Trillick had their chances. Better team won in my opinion. Personally I thought it was a great game of football. Good luck to scotstown. No disrespect to Glen but I'd like to see scotstown win it. Something about the underdog I suppose.

Very difficult to follow all of this with the quotes mixed up.

If Scotstown do beat Glen I don't see why they would be any less likely to beat Crokes or to win it out?

Crokes were clinical in county final but have shown signs of nerves in other games. They need to be telling Ferris to stay inside the 21 yard line!

Scotstown made some silly mistakes to keep Trillick in the game, how they weren't 5 or 6 up at half time needs proper analysis. This is the second game in a row they kept the opposition in a game they were on top
Cut that out they have a great chance and they won't fear KC either"
No doubt the 2 teams in the final deserve to be there but most neturals would have liked to see a Glen v Kilcoo final, for me the 2 best teams in Ulster i just have an oul notion Glen by 4 or 5

Hoping Scotstown win it, they are a team you have to admire for their skill resilience and bottle. Some legends playing for them too, be great to see them win Ulster at least.

I'm actually happier to see a new team in the final. And I don't think it's fair to say Kilcoo are in the top 2 teams when they failed to beat Scotstown. They had their chance to make the final but couldn't do so.

There's a top 1 in Ulster at the moment and then a pack of 4 or 5 after that.

Didn't Kilcoo lose to Scotstown? So how are they better than them?

Read my post , im not knocking Scotstown in any way and i have said they deserved to beat Kilcoo , i cant make it any clearer than that, but please try and grasp the fact that i think Kilcoo are a better team i dont think theres much wrong with that

Scotstown have really only showed real form since the county final. I think they have improved over the course of the Ulster campaign and can improve further if they cut out those silly mistakes which kept their last two opponents essentially in the game. Giving up a cheap goal in each game made each win more difficult than it should have.
I also think some of the bigger names in the team have only played in patches, if they all step up on Sunday, Scotstown have every chance. It's 50/50 IMO

In fairness, it's not outlandish. It was a very tight game and I thought Scotstown were the better team on the day.
That doesn't mean someone can't think Kilcoo are a better team. They've been consistently at a high level for a number of years.
Man City lost to Aston Villa yesterday. If you asked people which of those they think is the better team, most would answer with the team which lost the game last night.

The Scotstown team, have more outstanding stars than Kilcoo. Beggan and Mc Carthy are all stars. Mc Carron had multiple nominations. The Hughes brothers have Ulster All stars.
Scotstown will take a lot of stopping on Sunday and I think everything is going right for them to lift the Ulster club championship.
Easily the most impressive team in the Ulster club so far, scorer's and dangers in every line of the field.

Glen are looking ahead to Kilmacud and will be caught out by a seriously impressive outfit in Scotstown who have it all.

That's a very strong argument. I hadn't considered that.
To hell or to Connacht with my opinions on anything outside of Connacht football. What about hurling? Am I permitted an opinion on that?

If you think Glen will be looking ahead to Kilmacud your not wise.
With Malachy over Glen he will surely not look past Scotstown.
His knowledge of a lot of the Scotstown team will be a big advantage to Glen I think.

Should be an exciting final.

Best of luck to Scotstown.

Heard this a lot this week so I'm asking how big of an advantage is it he knows the Scotstown lads? In what way? Will he tell Ryan Dougan that jack mcarron likes to dummy and kick with his left foot …..
