Rounders Titles Up For Grabs

(Oldest Posts First)

Has anyone ever watched this sport and if so would you recommend it or not?!? I heard about it as far back as the National School but to be honest I've never seen it played. I'd love to know how it compares to Cricket or Baseball. I love Baseball so I'd imagine I could relate to it.

My club, Carryduff, Co. Down, started Rounders this year on a non competitive basis. It is very similar to baseball with an underarm pitch. They use a baseball bat and a sliotar to play.

Yes but how will it fit in with the split season?

My local club started a team, I wouldn't watch it if the All Ireland finals were played in my back yard. Even high level baseball is insufferable to watch too.

Sounds a bit like Softball due to the underarm pitching I suppose.
