I'm not sure, I suppose it would have to be investigated wherever it happened, both sides of the border most likely. I suppose they can do nothing until a complaint is made?

Rumours of this kind of behaviour had been spinning for a few years

Ye that's the thing…at the moment it's just a social media post. An official complaint would need to be made. There is due process… not the trial by social media brigade

Replying To DCFCGAA:  "Seems to be a lot of fuss over the tickets this year (got mine thankfully)

Not enjoying this move it to croker talk. 35k between the 2 semis, surely clones can hold close to that if they open it up a bit. Lots of complaints about only club members getting tickets (im not a member of any ulster club, living in Clare) which I agree with.

Dont like the 'jumping on the bandwagon' talk. Of course more people are going to want to go to a final and of course not everyone can go to every league match. All this " I was at a league match in the ppi**ing rain in the arse end of nowhere so where is my ticket" talk is nonsense, cant think of any other sports that reward people with ticket preference if they had gone to earlier games which untimely meant less .

To all those going hope its a great day, weather not looking great but ah well, just glad Im coming in on the southern road as I can only imagine the traffic in the north side of the town.

Derry by a fine margin, Gough will have to be on his game"
That's some elitist anti GAA attitude, you contribute nothing to any club in Ulster yet you get a ticket for the final but someone who plays and or volunteers all year misses out. You are the antithesis of the GAA. A disgrace.

Yep. Conjecture and speculation are no help to anyone, least of all to those impacted in cases like these.

I think given the origin of this story, its certainly not old news.

I don't see any witch hunt here. A disturbing allegation seems to have been made and its incumbent now on the GAA, particularly Derry, to step in and make clear that the allegations are being treated with the utmost respect and seriousness.

Has any complaint been made to Gardai or PSNI?

These are serious allegations. Charges were dropped against a well known professional soccer player in England, but his club still aren't playing him. Everyone is looking at Doire GAA to see what are they going to do??

Do the GAA need a police complaint to be made in order to act ?

The courage it takes to publicly speak about such things is just immense. For the GAA to ignore what has happened would be inconceivable.

Hoganstand should be suspending this thread as noone knows the truth and everyone will be throwing in rumours and unsubstantiated stuff which might be prejudicial to the individuals involved.

That's a great point. If its old news and known, as you say, have derry gaa failed to do their due diligence here. That's a great point you've raised. We'll done.

I was a member for 28 years in Derry, then moved to New Zealand for 5 years and was a member there, now I am a member and coach with my local club in Clare. I wouldnt take Munster final tickets down here despite paying my yearly dues, and my friend in Derry who I got the tickets from is a non playing, paying member of his club but not from Derry so he offered me the tickets......what is the disgrace there sorry? Should I only be allowed to go watch my county if I chose not to move my family for work to give them a better life that my qualifications would have gotten me at home?

Armagh will try to bomb Lynch early days...it won't work...Derry will set about their business of organised domination...Armagh a very ordinary team will panic and fall apart...exposed...
Derry by 8...

I think 6/4 Armagh is a great price. The spotlight is on Derry.
Armagh to win on the day.
