Great win. Thought they might have blown it after being hauled back but they kept in well.

Kavanagh's been some player for them over the years and looking forward to seeing him against Dublin again, although hopefully not in three weeks!

You'd think they'd turn that crap off.

Replying To katser:  "Well done Carlow I'm absolutely delighted for ye!!!
Another year for Offaly below in the Joe Mac!!!
Fair play to Carlow they beat Offalys A team and B team, remember Offaly fielded their B team in the last group game v Carlow expecting they would beat Carlow in the Final and not let Laois slip into the Final!!
Offaly v Wexford Joe Mac 2024?"
Hopefully not but you never know Katser!

It would mean "another " year for Offaly rotting below in the Joe Mac because Wexford would bate them.

I wouldn't assume that. If we play like we did in the 2nd half the last day we would likely lose to a bad club side!

Well done Carlow! A great game - Leinster hurling at its best!
Hard luck Offaly, showed great grit and determination.

Definitely not, Wexford wouldn't beat a club team on last week's second half performance.

Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Westmeath, Antrim, Offaly, Kerry & Laois are all around the same standard at the minute.

Dublin just above all them on current form.

1b standard if you will call it that.

Nice tweet of congratulations from Kilkenny CLG to "our neighbours."

Congratulations Carlow! Fully deserved!
At the time of writing, if Wexford do wind up in the McDonagh next year, it'll be some three way battle between Wexford, Offaly and Laois. The Offaly and Laois needle from this year will be an interesting subplot.

Replying To Overthebar53:  "You tyring to tell me that shoehorning our marquee games into 3 months of the year is a good idea. Cork or Limerick will be out of the championship before may is out. Ditto wexFord. Ferns had a 7 or 8 week gap between their co. Final and provincial club, ditto St. Mullins. This was replicated all over the country last year. It's just farcical."
So what's your solution? You're full of criticism, but offer no alternative.

Well done Carlow, excellent performance...Offaly picked the wrong team to play in the final!

Enjoy the celebrations, the Foundry will be hopping tonight!

Well done Carlow and hard luck to Offaly.

The only one of them that doesn't have to worry about anything, like relegation etc. Is Waterford. Because they play in the best competition in the world, the Munster Senior Hurling Championship.
