The death has occurred of Peter Pritchard London formally Galbolie, Bailieborough, Cavan , 25th March 2023 . Peter was one of the greatest servants to Cavan football ., With Steve Duggan, Raymie Carlon, Enda Mc Gowan Cavan was then a strong force in Ulster He was in his prime in the late sixties before he emigrated away over to London. As many Cavan people who visited LOndon would know if you fell on hard times Peter was the man to go to. He went into Politics and was elected on a Liberial democrat tictet in London. No mean fete for a Cavan man . He never lost the common touch and was always interested how football was going in Cavan May he rest in peace

May he RIP. Unfortunately, I never heard of him.
I like your sentence "No mean fete for a Cavan man." Having 'mean' and 'Cavan man' in the same sentence is just so poetic.

Well I do remember him. I remember him and Ray Carolan having absolute blinders in the Ulster Final of '62. I think Peter was marking James McCartan that day. Down were going for the four in a row in Ulster, but the Breffni Blues beat them well.
