Why can't we do refunds ?
Last night I attended the Armagh v Monaghan Ulster Championship match in Blaney , 2 adults and 3 children - £29
Game called off and rightly so , but there is no refund .
Game is on this Saturday in clones , but we have another game to attend to !!
If we want to go all digital - surely we can. Refund patrons

Indeed. I think the tickets can be reused Saturday so you might be able to offload them?

Mine are in the hotpress at the minute trying to get them dried out and fit for purpose on Saturday!!!

You sure you can't get a refund? If so, bad form by Ulster Council. Have read in a few different places that people who had tickets for the postponed Munster U20 hurling match can get refunds from Munster Council if the refixture doesn't suit them. Ulster should be able to do the same.

Thats not true, they do refund and I have had my refund processed. No need to beat the GAA with a stick when its simply not true and not warranted (plenty of gaa knockers out there to do that already)

I don't see tha Cuchullain is criticusing GAA there Armagh20. It's not the GAA doing the refund, it's Ticketmaster. And it looks like they don't do refunds if the game or other events are rescheduled. Which isn't right. You've a contract with them to attend a game at a specified time and it was cancelled for that time. I think Cuchullain is entitled to a refund but honestly don't understand if they'll pay it or not.

It's not Ticketmaster. Ulster GAA, like the other provincial councils, instead uses the Universe ticketing system for their minor and U20 matches.

We also use it ourselves for our club games here in Wexford and I know 100% for a fact that it's possible to issue refunds, at the discretion of the user.

Munster GAA said they'd do refunds for their U20 hurling match that was postponed this week, and another poster here has said he's already had a refund processed for the Ulster U20 football match in question here.

Nothing whatsoever to do with Ticketmaster policies and I'd still believe that OP here would get a refund from Ulster GAA if he asks for one.

They will refund. Would be extremely bad form not to, Simple process too that is followed in most cases. You paid for something that you didn't receive.

My bad Pikeman. I still think he should be entitled to a refund and hopefully he will.
