Waterford has just released a new hurling song. Not bad but I think a song that represents all aspects of a county not just sport is better. Canuck (Waterford) - Posts: 2565 - 21/04/2023 22:14:57 2472298 Link 0 |

County Tyrone don't have a monopoly on the O'Neills as they would like to think they do. They also ruled South Derry, South Antrim and South Armagh before the plantations.

That is the city though, Derry GAA has always been a rural thing. I think there are songs about Dungiven and a song called 'sweet moneymore'.

All hail The Gallant John Joe ( I think Come Back Paddy Reilly is the official song, but needs ousting) Calving4Sam (Cavan) - Posts: 49 - 29/04/2023 08:40:46 2474462 Link 1 |
Judging by the "music" blared in Croke Park these days, i think the DJ imagines they are in Los Angeles or Brooklyn :-) BarneyGrant (Dublin) - Posts: 1510 - 29/04/2023 10:13:51 2474474 Link 1 |
