Sligo had 3 players on the team, Leitrim had one. Get your facts right before you start"

I was simplysay and ai will say it again that footballers from Fermanagh, Carlow, Louth,Killkenny Sligo Leitrim ( which are all weaker footballing counties ) will not get recognized each year if the big two , ie Tailteann cupp finalists get 10 yes ten places out of 15 on the T C T O T Y ..

Naw Naw its not right that my own County , Ulster Champions two years ago, het 4 on the team in a competition that was designed for weaker County players.
So before you chide Tomsmith look at what I was saying and I am only trying to be helpfull to weaker County player like the ones in Sligo.

It would appear that the point is lost on you, I feel as the competition is for weaker counties that the more Counties that have representations the better for the success of the competition

Cavan is a weaker county as well. You only beat Sligo by 3 points. You'll be back in the Tailteann again unless you get to a provincial final. Promotion may not be enough.

Yes Cavan s a weaker County ,and we play in a lower Division.
But we were recentlyin Croke Park in two finals.
But be careful who you slag as Donegal could be down in a lower Division at the end of eh 2023 League.

Maybe you should have used Wexford as an example instead of Sligo so Tom?

Rather than pick holes in my wonderfull suggestions ( Aided by the great Mrs T ) why not be constructive and come up with an improved suggestion.
In surely make a mockery of trying to assist weaker Counties to have 10 players selected from the two teams that competed in the final of the T C final.
As a said what about all the olther fine players who only got a small number of game s.
Cavan and Westmeath players got huge exposure mand got 10 players rewarded Hu HU.

Tom tbh I think TOTYs and All Stars are a pointless exercise, and completely subjective, and should be done away with at every level. An unnecessary crossover from over the Atlantic along with Halls of Fame etc. Great players will always be remembered for their greatness wherever they were from.
