Return Of The Mc........ And Mannion

(Oldest Posts First)

With Jack McCaffrey and Paul Mannion returning to the Dublin panel for the 2023 season, can they finally end their long drought and bring Sam Maguire back to Dublin next July?

Mannion has been playing at high level with Kilmcaud but currently injured. I seen it mentioned McCaffrey hasn't really played any club football this year?

I can see McCaffery coming back even stronger than the train he was; that's just his way.

Mannion? Injuries? He might play bit parts, all going well, but I cannot see him getting back up to the amazing level he once had. Still, 10~15 minutes from the man could make all the difference in a down-to-the-wire game.

Wishing the Dubs well in 2023.

There were some very encouraging signs from Dublin before the injuries and they were a fraction from an AI final narrowly losing against the best team in the country.

Think with Con and a fully fit James they'd have won the AI this year, by more luck with injuries and improving young lads, some looking too drawer and now having Mannion and McCaffrey back

Few adjustments and a camp fully focused and committed it will take a very good team to stop them next year. Think going through Div 2 will also help regardless if they go up or not, something new and fresh is always good.

Dubs to be on a mission next year
