Ah it was just a great moment, witnessing it in person was class. McGee was in his prime at the time and it nearly signalled the end of O'Neill in that moment. O'Neill was a wonderful player by the way, a genius. His fame will be 3 All Stars, Sam Maguire and many an Ulster title along the way. A great.

True, not many defender's about now that could go man to man, which brother was the toughest? Heard different stories.

Never played against them, hard to know I would have put Neil down as the toughest but there wouldn't be much in it, some hardy boys down that country.
I'd say Eamon would have more of a wee chat with you, other fellas on here probably played with them or against them and would know better than me,
one things for sure we have a much weakened defence without Neil now.
