Yup, so keep Kerry in Leinster if ever they win the Joe Mac. Munster would be too strong for them. foreveryoung (USA) - Posts: 2392 - 07/08/2022 19:23:52 2436568Link 1
TG4's coverage of the Kerry hurling final featured use of a ref mic. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9232 - 08/08/2022 07:59:57 2436590Link 0
Something I was wondering. As Naas won the Intermediate All Ireland does that now mean the Kildare champions will play in the Leinster senior championship this year? oneoff (UK) - Posts: 1651 - 08/08/2022 09:34:01 2436604Link 0
There is already a topic 'Kerry GAA thread'. Couldn't you have put this in there? Cockney_Cat (UK) - Posts: 2866 - 08/08/2022 11:00:37 2436617Link 1
The intention here is a discussion across counties. Both can coexist. St Fechin's 2-16 Knockbridge 2-09 Congratulations to St. Fechin's who made it back-to-back Louth senior hurling titles!! legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9232 - 08/08/2022 11:42:56 2436626Link 1
| The problem with this is, if you get people from 25 to 30 or so counties all putting there local Championship scores in here and commenting on them, it will become a right mess. Besides, there are already topics set up like, 'Wexford Hurling Championship 2022', 'Galway Hurling thread', 'Clare Hurling thread' etc. They surely, are the places to go and make your comments. | There is a place for collective and individual discussion. Thanks for sharing your perspective and enjoy watching your local club championships! legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9232 - 08/08/2022 13:15:39 2436649Link 0 |
I know they looked to play in it alright, not 100% Sure if its happening. I'd imagine it would especially as they won the Intermediate. They'd give a lot of senior teams a good run for their money. Bon (Kildare) - Posts: 2557 - 08/08/2022 13:17:52 2436650Link 0
The Kildare champions are drawn to play the Offaly champions in the Leinster Senior QFs the weekend of 11/12 November. Viking66 (Wexford) - Posts: 17344 - 08/08/2022 13:49:38 2436658Link 0
The Kildare Senior Hurling Championship produced the All-Ireland Intermediate winner. Probably the correct call to allot the winner this year to the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9232 - 08/08/2022 14:40:35 2436669Link 0
Definitely the correct call. Think it's automatic in any case. Viking66 (Wexford) - Posts: 17344 - 08/08/2022 15:30:35 2436680Link 0

I suppose now that the intercounty is over we won't have to tolerate Marty Morrissey on the weekend news ......!!!!! bruffgael (Limerick) - Posts: 209 - 09/08/2022 16:29:41 2436842Link 0
| Whilst commentating on the excellent camogie final between Cork and Kilkenny at the weekend. He started to explain to the viewers who the O'Duffy Cup was named after, saying that he (O'Duffy) was a "male man". It totally threw me for a few seconds. | Not sure exactly what he meant by that. In this day and age it probably means something though! Viking66 (Wexford) - Posts: 17344 - 10/08/2022 09:53:03 2436905Link 0 |
They are Cockney Cat. With the reduced inter county season, local championships can be posted on county websites. I would have preferred to have All Ireland Finals played in August, but the new format is now in situ. thelongridge (Offaly) - Posts: 1879 - 10/08/2022 14:47:44 2436962Link 0

Best of luck to Jason McCarthy after his injury yesterday. You could see instantly how bad it was. Hopefully he can recover well..he has a tough road ahead. Obviously it was a disgrace how long it took an ambulance to get there but probably equally as bad that not one person there seemed to know what they were doing. it was hard watch the way they were attending to him. tiobraid (Tipperary) - Posts: 4119 - 26/09/2022 09:27:07 2441864Link 0 |
Surely you could have put that on a camogie thread...... :) Doylerwex (Wexford) - Posts: 4002 - 26/09/2022 15:03:30 2441941Link 1
