Not much to say about that game. Both sides shot poor wides. Once Derry had to chase the game, they were goosed with Galway's superior footballers never looking taxed. And both keepers had a 'mare. I've held off till now, but what is the story with Gleeson? For a big man he looks terrified by the physicality. He stood off that last ruck when he should have been charging down and so the Derry lad was given the space to bury it. Hard luck Derry, ye've had a good run. And Galway? We're back in a final! Delighted for the lads - well deserved when most people were writing them off both against Armagh and today against Derry. Galway defence gets better with every game as well. I know they had their problems at the end of games but they seem to get more solid as they go on in the championship. But the Dubs or Kerry forwards will bring them a huge challenge. One thing guaranteed, Galway should find it easier to score against both of those teams compared to Derry.
