Replying To BarneyGrant:  "You might have another look at the statistics.

Councillor reelected on first count in Carrick was main opponent of centre there.

Poor response. Try better or take Viking's example and ignore the evidence."
The lad reelected on first count was going to be reelected first count if an immigrant never set foot on the Island Barney.
And you haven't presented any evidence yet for me to ignore.

I have told you what the % was. The breakdowns are not difficult to find. I am not your adult education officer.

You said more than 20%.

Pie in the sky.

Giving an exact % would mean substantiating your claim and identifying those candidates who you deem non-centre / non-establishment, or whatever you want to call it.

And you can't do that.

Bear in mind that there are independent candidates in Dail Eireann who have backed Simon Harris for Taoiseach. So you can't simply tar all non government candidates in any election as non-establishment.

That's why you're being asked to substantiate your claim.

Can you do that??

Why should I waste my time looking for evidence I can't find for a point you are trying to make? Back your own posts up with your own research and references. Or you just look like you are talking nonsense.

Stop digging. You were ten points down at half time. You scored own goal with your "34 votes in Leitrim ."

D- for compression. E for composition. Must do better :-)

Thanks for that Barney.

The kind of straight answer, backing up the nonsense you're trying to spin, that I was expecting.

Replying To MachaireConnacht:  "That's it and far right party in Germany already starting to try and paint the SS in a better light. The far right in Ireland already have links with a lot of these unsavoury crews. The irony as well that they've befriended Tommy Robinson and the BNP types. The same thugs who were only too happy to beat up Paddy's in the 70s and 80s."
At the heart of the aristocracy there has always been a core Fascist, anti semantic and racist group. Always been willing to try and hide their true identity and manipulate the masses into believing that somehow the fault of their misfortune was the outside rather than the rich who continued to get rich off their misery. Farage gave them the respectability that Robinson never could but they are no different.

F for Barney.
Barney is a bright pupil, but inclined to have dreams that when he wakes up he believes are reality. Sadly he can't find any evidence for these realities, and then asks other people to find this evidence for him. Must do better next year.

Some politicians representing us at local, national and in particular European level leaves a lot to be desired.

The new norm catching on fast on the home sod is having text book / career Politician's applying quick fixes. At European level we nominate the most unlikely candidates (some even nominate themselves for reappointment) and Ursula will tell them what to say and when to say it etc. etc. etc.

You are not even familiar with who was elected in your own county, man.
