Galway Senior Club Championship Draw

Next weekend is the central turning point in this year's championship. Big names against each other. Any team that loses 3 on the trot in big trouble. Moycullen v Corofin will be some game. Not to mention MM v Salthill. Great to have both streamed.

MM to beat Salthill handy enough.

Hoping for a moycullen win but will need to play well for the full game not periods like the last 2 games . This may not be the last time they meet this year.

Couple of very interesting games this weekend.

Corofin vs Moycullen. Hard to know where either team is at. Corofin haven't been tested while Moycullen have been asleep for periods of both of their games so far. Marginal vote to Moycullen as they look stronger around the middle third. Both teams will qualify anyway so its just a case of who tops the group. Interested to see who plays on Cooke.

Salthill vs Mountbellew. Salthill have been impressive so far but this is a step up for them. They only had to worry about Comer last time but playing against Finnerty, McHugh and Kelly is a different threat. I doubt Michael Daly will be back for this one as they can probably afford to keep him out for another while. Mountbellew by 3 or 4 but expect Salthill to worry them for a while.

Must win game for Annaghdown and they should beat St James. Tuam should have too much scoring power for Oughterard.

Corofin have too much for Moycullen, cant see Moycullen coming close. Corofin by 6!

Mountbellew and Salthill will be close for the first half and Mountbellew will start to pull away in the second half. Mountbellew by 6!

I diubt there will be 6 between these 4 sides. A couple of points will decide these and both games could go either way. Moycullen corofin is really interesting one. I thought in 2020 that moycullen would have beaten corofin but in the last couple of years mountbellew have intercepted their collision.
